Hello Everyone,
While waiting for my new adsl modem after returning my first modem which conked out on me after a month of use, I played with a macbook Air, and am sending a picture of this Macbook air taken at a local computer store.

Great hair Georges, not such a great product from the mighty apple though. Lacking on many fronts I feel and I have ummmm . . . six apple computers, the Macbook and Macbook Pro are however very nice machines.

I agree, Dave. Macbook Air seems pointless beyond just being a technological feat. And I agree that the Macbook and Pro are very nice. I plan to buy one before I go off to college. Right now I use a four year old iBook.
I agree with you guys as well on the MacBook Air.Nice slim package but I wouldn't buy this product for the reasons mentioned.I'm also using a 4 year old iBook G4 and its still going strong.I think after my iBook hits the 5 year mark I'll replace it with the MacBook Pro 15 inch screen of course:)Don't like that huge 17 incher as its just too big for a laptop I think.Mark
Hey! Great picture of yourself, Georges! Especially great looking hair. While I don't like the MacBook Air myself (it's just relying on a gimmick to sell. Even the high end MacBook is a lot more powerful than it, as well as cheaper. Of course, that's my computer nerd talking, and not me :P ), it's still a very sleek looking computer. Hope you're keeping well, and hope you're able to get your internet back up and running once the new modem comes in.

I found the Macbook Air sort of slow as compared to the Macbook Pro I am currently using for work. I find the disk space less generous, and am turned off by the fact that the battery is not user replaceable like on my Palm TX. (which I use in lieu of an iPod Touch) now.
