Hi everyone
Just wanted to acknowledge the passing of Gary Gygax, who was the co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons. Dungeons and Dragons was a huge part of my life when I was younger and being an avid gamer to this day, I owe a great debt to the man who basically launched an entire genre of games that I have enjoyed.
RIP Gary Gygax
ps - and just to keep this "on topic", here's a photo of Gary Gygax from the back, and you can see he was sporting long hair!
Likewise, Aeyrim. Thank you for posting this.
Go in peace, Gary. It's all "natural 20s" from here on, my friend.

Thanx, Aeyrim and Validus, for the (sad) nooz; my favorite campaign, of course, of course, HAD to be Dungeons and Dragons "Hollow World" (the byline for which is, "The known world: It isn't flat, but it IS hollow") ... So, in honor of His Highness, here's the WIRED e-magazine's obit:

Another longhaired genius has left us, but he's made the world a better place for having graced t with his presence.

Grandaddy Gary's memento mori
It's sad that he's gone. I've only been playing DnD for a few onths now, but still.
I plan to ask my DM if we can have a moment of silence or something next we meet.
