I saw meet ups mentioned. Where do these meet-ups take place. I would love to come to one.What would really be cool if I could get my band Allman Brothers tribute www.brothersoftheroadband.com to come and play at a long hair meet-up that would be really cool
We have long hair meets in the San Francisco bay area from time to time. There are a couple of venues in Golden Gate Park for rock bands to play at. Stern Grove is another venue as well. This would attract many people in addition to our long hair group. It would be a very cool event, with your band playing "Blue Sky" and "Rambling Man" and other great Allman Brothers songs in one of those venues. Late spring or summer would be the best time of year for this.

Thanks Scott, Well we certainly play all those songs and play them very well,Along with Whole album such as The Live at the Filmore East Album, We also play the great Warren and Derek era stuff such as Soulshine , Rockin Horse, Instrumental Illness etc. It would be a dream of mine to come out to the West Coast and play. I have only been to southern Cali years ago. My Sprit longs to come to the place where the movement all started with Ken Keysey and the Merry Pranksters. I was only about 14, 15 years old when all this was going on but my heart and spirit longs to connect to it. I have read as much stuff as I can lay my hands on but there is nothing like going there. For me it would be like a religious Christian going to the Holy Land. I know the Haight has changed over the years but still the ghosts remain
Hey if anybody knows anybody who could make this dream come true, we would be honored to come out there and play. My ultimate dream would be like to have a weekend campout and concert like Watkins Glen Summer Jam. I actually think we are doing one this Summer in Upstate NY
