So today at work I had my hair how it is in the picture, and one of my good friends popped in to get some wine, and her boyfriend at that point came up to me and said how I need to get a hair cut because I am beginning to look a lot like a girl. At that point my friend punched him in the shoulder and told him to hush.
I smirked and said that it was okay because I am getting quite the breast job done next week and getting my nails done.
This actually made my day because even though the guy said I looked like a girl, it means that he recognized that fact I am becoming a longhair!
Anyways that's it just a little funny story to share with you guys.
Take care and happy growning,

Hey Capresono, your hair length as is is very admirable and you clearly NOW have goal length in mind. The fact that "others" might deride you for your hair length (e.g. that "girl" insult at your job) is clear that people in society have a negative view of long hair on men. This is all the more reason to stay resolute and NOT get your hair cut. Personally, I've been longhaired most of my life.
I am fifty years old, and you CLEARLY look masculine and you're bearded. I think that you should "weather the storm" against insults as I, myself, have put up with MUCH WORSE sentiments in grade school and high school, which I will not recapitulate here as to not offend anyone.
You are an upstanding example of the longhaired spirit. You are goodlooking and will look very good with long hair (and longer hair) so do not give in to the jousts of detractors. Your effort thus far is admirable. Please keep it goin' and growin'. Your achievement will be a triumph for all of us.
Yours in longhaired camaraderie.

"Some" guys, especially the younger ones, tend to have facial features that are very pretty and when that is combined with long hair it provides them with a feminine quality. This makes some men very uncomfortable as they realize they have a homosexual attraction to the individual.
Personally, I think you handled it well and there is really no reason to ever get overly concerned as long as you understand why someone feels this way. There is always the chance that I'm wrong, but, I doubt that I am.

HOMG, IT'S THE BEARDED LADY. : D
Uhm, no. xD I think you have the right thought in mind.
Hey guys,
Thanks for the positive feed back from my post! I also want to take the time to thank anyone else on the future replies to my post. I am going to be gone for a few days so I won't get another chance to thank you all for the replies so I am doing it ahead of time.
At any rate, thanks again and I am beginning to feel like a true longhair!
Take care,

Bwahahaha, this is something I would do. I like your devious mind. ;-)
Which Carol, Get a breast job and you nails done, or say that if you were him??.................oh boy I'm being naughty...................and I love it! hahahaha
If I was in his shoes, I would come back with a retort like his. My feeling is that is what some people deserve for their rudeness, a smart comeback. Not too mention, the look on their face when you respond that way, is priceless!
