Does anyone on this board use wild boar hair brushes? I recieved one for Christmas, and it is the best. It is wooden with 100% real wild boar hair. It makes you hair really silky smooth, and shiny. I would also advise you to get yourself. If you already have one, give responses in your experiences.
Yes, I purchased one recently. I use it as a tertiary level brush. I first detangle with fingers and wide comb, then a "regular" hairbrush, then the boar brush to finish off. Good results.

Yes, I also use such a brush since about two years... in fact, it gives a good smoothing effect, but it's not the right tool for detangling. To do this, I use a wide-forked wooden comb - but my hair is strong and thick enough to break the comb in two halves when I got stuck with it some months ago! Somehow this reminds me of an 70s Superman comic strip, where under the influence of green (or was it red?) Kryptonite Superman's hair and beard started to grow uncontrollably, not even his own "heat look" was able to cut the hair, he had to join forces with Supergirl...

What I like most about the brush is that it doesn't cause static electricity like plastic handled brushes do.
Where would I be able to find one of these brushes?
I had no trouble finding one at wal-mart, and I've seen them in places like Kerr Drug stores before too.
