Yes, cornrows are one of the best ways to damage your hair. If you don't really like your hair and want to get rid of it then do tight little cornrows and leave it in for awhile and it will be a mess when you take it out (lots of breaking and twisted stress). Some people find that after a lengthy time with cornrows that their hair is never the same again.
