To all you Bikers; my band The Brothers of the Road Band - Allman Brothers Experience, just got signed to play for a huge Harley Davidson Rondezvous in June in Upstate New York. I'm sure there will be many Long Hairs there to share with as Bikers are a majority Long Haired.......anybody from the New York or Eastern region heard of this?
Get this we are playing the main stage and they told us after our 1 Hour set we must play a Blues Vamp while STRIPPERS perform.......Hahahahaah every guys dream huh.

In my dreams I'm a biker... However, the 2 times in my life I was considering purchasing a motorcycle, BOTH times I fell off!! I was in my early 20s then (I'm in my late late VERY late 20s + now.... ahemm)... The 2nd time I tried riding a bike sealed my doom even further as a non-biker, when I lost control and drove straight up a sand dune until the bike and me both fell over at the top! My brother (the seller) said it looked like a scene straight out of some dorky cartoon, --- and he couldn't stop laughing and pointing his finger at me... I guess it just wasn't my destiny to look cool like a biker (lol)!!
Also in my dreams, I happen to be a male stripper; but, hey, they aren't making horror flicks the way they used to, "back in the good old days" anymore (lol)!!

Conjured up some good visuals, Ken! :) With the price of gas lately, I might start riding my motorcycle more. Definiteley have to do something about the ponytail, though. The longer it gets, the longer it takes to get the tangles out of it...

Segment it Rick! That's what I do when doing lawn work. All that speed from the rider can make a mess of ones hair, woo hoo, we hit 5 MPH! :-)
Dont ever give up Brother one day it will all be worth it

Oh My God Funny Stuff Ken :)

I'll go and see the Allman Brothers the day Duane Allman
appears on stage......
Well some folks say Derek Trucks has actually surpassed Duane in skill

Gosh, the lengths and heights I am willing to go to, just to avoid paying a $5.00 parking and park use fee. Going up was not too bad, coming back down, that was pretty hard on me. I nearly froze my ass off. This is in February.
Scott
Scott... is this the summit of Mt. Diablo?
--Rick
It sure is, Rick. It is an isolated peak, so the view is incredible.
Scott
Thanks, Scott. I haven't been up there since around '93 or so. Time to go back pretty soon...

Wow, nice bike Scott. I rode one once on a 30 mile ride and it was smooth as butter.
Very nice bike, Scott ! The view from this peak is fantastic.
I am of this sort of biker too :), although I didn't have enough time this year to do something consequent.
Vivien
Here is a good view from the top. The peak is isolated with surrounding land <100m above sea level.
Scott
Hi Scott,
Wow thats some serious riding you must have done to reach that peak.Obviously it was all on the road since you have a road bike which by the way looks like a great bike.Cannondale makes some really nice bikes for on and off road.Actually I have two bikes myself one for trail riding and one for the road. The trail bike is a Fat Chance and my road bike is a Specialized.Unfortunately I haven't used them recently as I need to drive somewhere thats suitable for bike riding.Riding where I live is like taking your life in your hands.LOL.Anyway Scott I admire you for being a dedicated rider and I'm sure you have a creative way to keep you hair safe:)Mark
Hey Mark, you look after that Fat Chance, they are like gold dust nowadays - I remember that was one of the 'must have' bicycles at one time.
Hope all is well with you, Dave
LOL Hi Dave LOL!Yea my prized Fat Chance has been a loyal soldier for years now.You can't miss it on the trails in it Flourescent Grello paint job aka lime green!By the way the model I have is the Wicked!I've upgraded components on it over the years as things just break and get outdated but the bike rules!Take care my friend.Mark
Beautiful bike Scott, Cannondale make lovely bikes. Cycling is such a wonderful sport, I have been cycling all my life and its the number one thing apart from my family of course. I think I have 5 bikes on the last count, road, commuter, trail. Its great for the mind and body. I'm really pleased to have a fellow biker here.
Here is a pic of my 'Cotic Soul', Reynolds 853 tubing and full XTR, mmmmmm
Cheers, Dave
here is what I like to ride
my scooter
that was pretty hard on me. I nearly froze my ass off. This is in February.
