Hi all,
As of tomorrow, March 17th, I am ever so happy to report to you that Kevin Carr has been voted-in to be the next President of the MLHH. I don't believe a better choice could have been made. Kevins unique abilities combined with his great caring that this wonderful board continue on into the future for the benefit of the longhairs is deeply appreciated. I do hope you will all welcome Kevin with open arms. We could not be more fortunate.
Because today is the last day before my term expires, I would like to express to all of you my sincere gratitude as well as thanks in the time I have served as your first President for being such a great group of guys. Looking back, it just amazes me to no end how this board has grown by such leaps and bounds, and it continues to do so!
I will return to being a moderator knowing full well that the Hyperboard will be in the greatest of hands with Kevin at the helm who will continue to steer us all with his guidence into the future.
My very best to all of you in the months and years ahead for good health, peace and joy within your lives, and of course terrific long hair success.

I second that emotion!! And a HUGE thank you to Justin, who did a behemoth of a job as our first official MLHH President!!! And may both Kevin and Justin be around for many, many more inches of growth into the future to come! HERE! HERE!

First of all, thank you, Justin, for making this post, and my heartfelt congratulations to Kevin for your appointment to president of the hyperboard. We all appreciate all your hard work, and know that only the best things will come to the hperboard in the days ahead, with you at the realm to lead us onwards to even greater things in the days ahead.
I would also like to thank YOU, Justin,for the fabulous job you have done during your term as president, and for all you have done to bring this community to where it is today. You have always been supportive of everyone growing their hair, offering so much useful advice, along with words of encouragement as well. Also, there are no words that can adequately describe all the hard words you have done for us on the team.
It has been a genuine pleasure working with you during my past year as a moderator on the LHC, and I am delighted that you plan to stay on the team.

Your words have touched me deeply and I don't even know where to begin in thanking you for what you have written. In fact, when it comes to you a whole page of thank yous wouldn't even be enough.
You have always been so supportive of this board and have brought with you so much to contribute to the cause of the longhair. You are loved by all, and for good reason I might add. I just couldn't imagine the Hyperboard without you always giving support in your own unique way as the truly outstanding gentleman that you are.
I am so thankful that you found us when you did. Thank you David a million times. No wait, one more thank you. (Now the total is a million and one than thank yous.) :-)

As I have expounded on ad-nauseum, the MLHH has become a unique phenomena of Internet Forums; in support, etiquette and overall community spirit. That is thanks to all the folks working behind the scenes. Thank You, Justin for your term in office, Welcome and Good Luck to you Kevin...and ongoing gratitude to all on the Staff (past, present & future).

Thanks for all of your kind words. And that photo was GREAT! So great in fact, that I had to get out my "Crayolas" and do a Monet-Style Painting of it. Alas, a few colours were missing and I could have used a little more purple or maroon........but this will have to do for now. [Wink]

Thank you for the kind words above. Words such as these coming from someone as special as are you mean the world to me.
But lest we all not forget that without Bill the board would never be as great a place as it is today. Bill speaks of many hours for me, but his hours are countless as out Chief Tech Crew Member who is always right there and knows how to make this place tick the smoothest of all.

I didn't even know there was a president. Is there a vice president?
And when was the voting? (Or didn't the votes in Michigan and Florida count?)
MLHH is run by a group of trustees, who are all longhaired men and site users. Yes, unlike so many sites on the web, this one is actually owned by its users - "us". The trustees are drawn from the guys who keep the site running - moderators, tech guys, etc. Officers assist the trustees in their conducting the site's business, and officers are appointed by the trustees.

You have been an excellent presidente and couldn't have done a better job at leading the men that run this community. Your contributions to this community will ALWAYS be remembered, And I for one will always be grateful for all that you have done for us. Words can't even describe how thankful I am.
Kevin has some immense shoes to fill in. I am certain he will be an excellent presidente. There couldn't have been a better choice for the job, Kevin is a great man and has outstanding qualities. I know for a fact that he will not let us down. Before I end this message, I'd like to thank Kevin for taking on the most important position in the entire crew. This position requires the utmost dedication and responsibility, It takes a lot of heart to take on such a role, and Kevin certainly has what it takes.

Justin, I want to add my voice to all the others expressing gratitude for your work on our behalf. Thank you very much. While we who only play on the board do not know all you have done for us I respect the judgement of the other moderators who have said such good things about your efforts on our behalf. Thank you for taking on a relatively invisible and thankless job, it is appreciated.
I'm glad you are getting a chance to reduce your workload (somewhat) now that you are 'just' a moderator. Enjoy the well earned time you can now spend in other ways.
