Hi, I would just like to say this is a great site for all those in support of various hair trends, leaning on the longer lengths.
I think I have always been a long-hair at heart since as a kid growing up I hated getting hair cuts not for the aesthetic reasons just because I couldn't sit still in the chair. But I got into having my hairstyle longer after I got into keyboards and guitar and also I just found it appealing being a fan of anime. Many of the protagonists of the animes had long hair and during college I had shoulder length strands.
I hope this picture works; it is of me after 9 months without a haircut from a medium length style. The picture was taken on a trip to Mexico with my dad around 3 months ago. I've cut my hair to around medium length (around Jimi Hendrix's length). I guess what I find most fun about long hair is actually the process of growing it out; weird huh lol?
I think that is awesome that you enjoy the process of growing it out, I wish that I could have learned that lesson sooner. I also want to welcome you to this board, I have only been on this board for five months but it's been great! The people have been friendly and very helpful and influanced me to grow my hair out much longer then my original goal was.

Kinda hard to compare your hair to Jimi, 2 completely different textures of hair. If you stretched jimi's hair out it was probably much longer than it appeared

I'd like to welcome you to the hyperboard, I'm not yet a member myself just stopped to lurk but I've been following this board for quite some time and it is a great place.
I'm also enjoying the growing out process, my hair is different each day and there are new experiences I've never noticed before.
At least until now I enjoy it and I hope I can that up as the hardest part is on the way.
