Can anybody tell by this picture I have posted if my ends look termenal? The ends are kind of all different lengths. I notice in some of the great pictures of the guys in the long hair meet from this site, their ends look like mine but their hair is much longer
I can't see hardly anything distinguishable.
Your right Bro, I guess this wasn't a great picture to use. It was the only one that kind of showed the ends. Most of my photos are about 1 year old.
Todd, what I look for is when someone's hair tapers toward the end. Your hair will thin gradually as you look down the length as fewer and fewer hairs reach the lower lengths. From your picture all I can tell is that you have gone untrimmed for a period of time.
People who have reached their maximum length also end up with a narrowing V shape since hairs coming from the middle of your head have the capacity to grow the longest. The ones on the sides peter out sooner so if your sides are as long as the middle there is at least enough growing left to do to let the middle hairs surpass the side length. One other factor to look for, at least in my experience, hair growth slows down for those tippy ends. New growth sprouts as fast as ever but those longest hairs have reached the phase where growth slows down before stopping completely. Try measuring your hair monthly and if you are still getting about the half inch per month average you have more growth left in your hair.
Good luck in reaching the length you want!
