Ok so here's where I started growing my hair out around March of 2005. Here it's May and the last day of school, I believe the date was May 28th, 2005
And Here's the Update
And now, I've been noticing my hair has been getting REALLY poofy and unmanagable. I need some help on how to control it. Like the frizzyness, and the bedhead is so unmanageable it's irritating and I get really frusturated in the mornings cause of it.
Is it split ends causing this? I've got really bad split ends and I'm wondering if I should cut them off.
Thank you all for supporting me in the past
Best wishes,
Josh
Hey Josh, I have that same camera. It IS really bad at taking clear pictures without flash. But I can still tell that the hair looks really nice. Keep it growing.
Hey dude !
Your hair look great and healthy to me !
eh and about the questions to be honest I my self have these things which I hope someone can advice us ..
A bit blurry to really tell, but tangles and bedhead will come naturally with long hair. However, if you do notice some splits, just take some sharp scissors and trim the individual strands right above the split. This can be quite tedious and time-consuming, but you'll probably like the results more than messing with the knots and all that.
Overall, wonderful length, Josh. Hope you're doing well. =)

A couple things to think about - you might need to change your shampoo/conditioner product, or the frequency that you use it. using the same product for an extended period of time can cause build up that needs to be cleaned away, unless the product is fairly light to begin with. Neutrogena makes a good clarifying shampoo, and VO5 has some good stuff as well.
Also, I've noticed that as my hair gets longer (and it's longer now than ever before, but still a long way from being as long as yours), bedhead is becoming more of a problem. Think about how you sleep, and what you do with your hair during sleep - it might help to figure out a way to restrain it so it doesn't tangle as much, but stil allow you to sleep the way you want. (one possible way - a loose segmented tail, but with the elastics starting a few inches from the base of your neck, so it doesn't feel like a big knot between your head and the pillow.) Fingercombing as soon as you get out of bed also helps tame the wild mane!
