The avatar I see on your posts today, with a white finger pointing up, was uploaded to the site about 26 hours ago.
Centered above is the avatar that is on site backups, that you probably had before.

Speaking of updating avatars, how do I update mine? It's over 6 months and I already read the FAQ.
Just send what you want to - that is also what Mark should do. I don't know how he got a new one that he didn't want put up, and those who maintain the directory (at that address) can sort it out.

More than likely, your browser has saved the old one in your cache. The browser does that with images, so that it's quicker to load pages you go to a lot. If you are STILL seeing the old one, refresh or reload the page. If that doesn't work, you'll need to clear your cache. If you don't know how and you're still seeing the old avatar, reply with the name of your browser, for example, Internet Explorer 6, Firefox, Safari, etc., and someone here will tell you how to clear your cache.
It's strictly on your end, it sounds like we're all seeing the new one.
I saw your old one too then I clicked the refresh button
and Voila I got the finger...LOL Well not the bad finger.
All is ok now. Click refresh if you haven't already done so.

And if that does not work, hold down the "shift" key and click "refresh" or "reload". That tells the browser you really mean it in case it is balking.
