"The anticipation of sex accelerates hair growth rate."
I got this from a website called Rapunzel's Delight, do you rekon theres any truth to this? lol it sounds false to me.
But the website also says
"Hair grows faster in the summer than any other season."
I think this could be true because my Father has to shave 2x a day in the summer and only once in winter, if its true i cant wait for summer lol.
I have heard that anticipation of sex increases beard growth for a period of time but then after it is all done with, growth goes back to normal. I don't know if i really believe it but it apparently has something to do with access hormones being produced. I haven't heard that this has anything to do with head hair though.
As for hair (both head and facial hair) growing more in summer, i have never heard that either, but hey if it is true then I also cannot wait for summer lol
I think that's backwards, personally, not that I have anyway to back up what I say. It would make more sense though if hair grew faster in the winter than the summer, since it would have helped keep in body heat during the winter months, and prevent overheating in the summer.
Yeah I'd actually agree with you, it would make sense evolutionary wise at least
But nothing with evolution and nature ever makes any sense does it?
..."The anticipation of sex accelerates hair growth rate."...
Hmmmmm...
With as much as I anticipate (alas, unfulfilled), I should be tripping over my locks by now !!!
Sigh.....
Haha, Thanks Walter for making me smile for a minute :)
