Hey all,
So I went home for spring break (from college) and at my home the water that I shower in is hard water, which I can manage my hair in quite well, it actually seems to prefer it almost as far as management goes. Now that I am back at school, however, I am showering in soft water and my hair seems to respond differently, it looks quite stringy and frizzier and a bit softer. Any suggestions on what to do to avoid getting that stringy/somewhat greasy look?
I have fine, straight hair down to my upper back (maybe an inch or two below a t-shirt collar). My routine involves shampooing only my scalp and part line with a minimal amount of shampoo, then condition my ends and work my way up. Should I cut down on the conditioner?
Try conditioning just the ends. I had a similar problem, but I think mine was related to the extremely low water pressure I have at my house compared to the pressure washer amount of water pressure at school.
Well its actually the same scenario with me. The water pressure from the shower head is far lower than here at school. I'll give your suggestion a try though and see if it helps :)
