I'm really liking skinny or super skinny pants. Never did like
baggy ones. Just wondering if there are any other long hairs
who like the skinny pants style also?
I dig the style, although I just wear girls jeans lol. They fit great and give off that vintage tight metal jeans look. I found that UniQlo is my fav brand for girls jeans and they don't have any feminine patches or details on them at all.

Thanks for the tip. I will check those out.
So cool to see someone else into girls jeans on here!! I started wearing them about 4 years ago and haven't bought a pair of men's since! They fit me SO MUCH better, I like them tight too and I have rather short legs (29") so none of the mens sizes work, a girls size 8 reg is perfect for me. Lately I've been buying the skinny straight legs too cause it makes a great 80's rocker look, which I am totally into. The best fit I've found so far in the skinny's is Old Navy "Diva" skinny low-rise.
I still like the boot-cup and flares too depending on what foot wear I'm wearing :-)
Hell yea Steve! I started about 4 years ago myself. I refuse to wear guy-fit jeans these days and they totally pull off the METAL look. For the record girls seem to dig them on guys as well ;)
Cool Cool Phil! Totally into to metal/glam/rocker look here, tight jeans,hi-tops or boots, leather and chains, jewlery, etc., how about you?
Last I checked I'm a five to a three in girls.
I wear girl jeans as well. XD
I admit I started for the look, but now doubt the fit is awesome for me too!
Very cool Steve. I'm more power/black metal dressing. I wear either black converse chucks, jeans and a band shirt like every day. When I play onstage I wear black skinny jeans, black doc martin boots, a bullet belt, band T and possibly paint my face (usually for a sence of humor with the face paint haha). On a side note, you can find pics of us on www.myspace.com/postmortalnj

Cool pics Phil! I'm in NYC area so I'll have to catch you guys on stge sometime. Awesome hair too dude!!
Thanks a lot for the kind words Steve, I apprecite you taking the time to check out that link. Speaking of NYC area (and not sure if this is your style of music), are you going to see At The Gates in July or Paganfest @ BB Kings in May? If so I'll see you there, lots of longhairs will attend lol.

Yes! I think I like the look you are talking about! Cool!
This gives me something to work toward. As soon as my empty
wallet will allow that is. he he
Yep. Wrangler slim fit for me. Otherwise I look like I have no ass.
Like them? Yes. But it's hard to fit a big butt into little pants.
So I enjoy observing them on the opposite sex!
Totally into skinny jeans here! Love the 80's rocker look with them! See my post under Phil's reply for more info.
The 80's rocker look is the best, im all about the 80s look. However skinny jeans dont fit me that well i wouldnt think, so i wear regular fit with holes and tears in them...it actually looks pretty cool.
That's a cool look with jeans too, I like the torn jeans with, hi-tops sneaks or boots, leather jacket and chains
Haha hell yeah, thats exactly my style. I think i might even try and get a pair of skinny jeans and see how they are on me tho.
I do, as it just makes me appear even taller than I already am (I'm 6'9"). Sometimes it's hard to find my size, but I don't like the baggy look. =)
-James
I think its awesome that you wear skinny jeans as tall as you
are! Yeah!
Just be aware that it has been the custom for men to wear looser fit pants than women for at least 20 years, and if you are a longhair who has "mistaken for a girl" problems, wearing tight jeans may worsen them. If you come off as clearly masculine, the fit of your jeans won't matter.

I'm not sure when this changed. I seem to recall pouring myself into some fairly tight jeans when I was in high school early on, about 1983 or so. Plenty of other guys were too. I guess at that point, a carryover sixties style still held some sway as far as "cool" was concerned (The Who still played, and it was still cool to wear their concert T the next day), and anything that accented... well... certain parts, was desireable. Let's face it--that's what tight jeans do for a guy, analagoous to what tight sweaters do for properly endowed females. I always think of Mick Jagger as the archetypal tight jean wearing guy. I'm not sure when it changed, maybe as little as 5 years later, and you had guys with the baggy look that I associate with "skate rats". There's probably some evolution here. Maybe loose jeans started as a riff on the "parachute pants" that were also popular at the time.
I would point out baggy jeans developed because men
when they would buy jeans would be them several sizes
larger.
I do. I wear them all the time.
A girl described the pants I wear as looking like they were 'painted on'. I could care less. xD
I love (Men's) Skinny Jeans, especially in unusual colours like purple
Topman is a great store for getting them in
Well, not too skinny, as they're a bit too feminine for my taste, lol:D
But just regular fit men's jeans is what i usually wear, i've never been much for baggy jeans, however i do have a pair of green camo pants wich i wear quite often:)
I despise the "skinny jeans", or "girl pants". Where I live, there are a lot of Emo kids and they like to wear the girl/skinny jeans. Most of them are real troublemakers, so I usually stick the the usual fit jeans, or sometimes baggier ones.
You do realise skinny jeans can be men's jeans right? Wearing skinny jeans does not mean you're wearing women's jeans

I'ts so funny to me that today in the high schools every kid has to have a niche or designation. I don't know them all, althogh I work in a high School but groups like emo, goth, gangsta and many more. It didn't seem to be like that when I was in high school back in the late 60's early 70's. All we really had were like the stoners and the non stoners or Hippy or straight, and I guess you could throw in the Jocks.
ToddB.
Yes I do know of the skinnier mens jeans. My cousin likes to wear them. But I kind of dislike the "women" jeans that some guys will wear.
I have nothing agaisnt the jeans designed for male usage.
I like the Regular Fit 505 Levi jeans. They're just normal. Neither baggy nor tight, just right. lol, that rhymes.
I wore jeans for the first time a few weeks ago, they were bought a while back, so they were far too big for me, but they werent intended to be.
Dont really like them that much, but People were quite shocked to see me wearing them
I don't usually wear like...REALLY skinny pants. But I can never pull off the baggy jeans look. Most of my pants are slim fitting, sometimes really tight at the top, but they all flare out at the bottoms. I'm kind of...tiny...so me and mom share a warddrobe. =P I have dress pants from Victoria's Secret XD
So funny you posted this message today of all days. I come home for lunch everyday and I was driving back to work and I saw 3 teenaged boys, prob 14-15ish skateboarding. All 3 were long hairs(shoulder length/mid back)and all 3 had super skin tight jeans on. I noticed the long hair first, but then I noticed the skin tight jeans, LOL. I got a chuckle. I am an old fart, mid 40's and back when I was a teen, skin tight jeans were the rage, funny how things make a come back
I alway like it to so I tried it once a few months ago, I was realy liking it but evrybody called me emo. I swear I must have been told like 20 time ''go cut yourself'' or ''go cry in a corner emo boy'' it Was realy annoying. But I guess my hair where shorter and close to the emo style thing...and I wear converse so it could be kinda confusing. Anyway I havent wear some till that day.
I guess Il try it again someday, when my hair will have reach at least past shoulder lenght and when Il be a litle more muscular so it looks more masculine.
I used to get the 'neither baggy nor tight' jeans and only recently have I started really liking the tighter pants. I tend to get ones that flare out a little at the knee, but they do hug the thighs. So much so that my wallet is just too bulky! I since switched from using a wallet to using a metal cigarette case for holding my necessary plastic and cash. As it is much slimmer and, being metal slides easily into a tight pocket.
I particularly like Buffalo jeans' cotton pants.

Hmmmm I never thought I'd see this discussion here but hey I admit that I hate baggy jeans and would never own any.I'm basically a jeans junkie and I go for the form fitted tight jeans myself.Fortunately I'm really thin so they look good on me which I think if you wear tight jeans you need to be thin.Right now I'm into the Dior Homme mens jeans which have an outstanding fit but are not cheap.Anyway I could go on and on about this but being a bit off topic I'll hold back.LOL

I like wearing biboveralls but
I have gotten to liking Wrangler cowboy cut jeans
and have been wearing them a lot latly.
I wear overalls often too. Have for many years now.
You all need to look up the article last year in the New Yorker about Jimmy Webb at Trash and Vaudeville in NYC. Here's a link to some information about it. He's like the tight jeans king:

I never liked baggies either and since I started my diet 18 months ago I've found I need new jeans. I've always worn 505s. I'm thinking about going to the Levis store in the city and getting 510s.
I'll put the link below so you don't have to cut and paste it (I hate having to cut and paste)

You might also want to look at the Levi 512 jeans. Hard to find but you can get them here: http://www.denimexpress.com/levimen512.html They're sort of a skinny version of the 505s. I also hate baggy jeans, and wear 505s, 512s, or Kill City skinny jeans from Urban Outfitters, depending on the situation. Lately I've found that even regular jeans start to seem baggy once you get used to skinny, so I'm wearing the skinny ones more often.
Nope. I wear the baggy ones, often the JNCO wide legs.
Thank you to everybody who posted!!! Its nice to know that I'm
not the only one liking the skinny jeans style.
This is huge for me the longest thread in my life here on this
board! Not bad for an outcast.
I like them, but I prefer flares!
