Hello everyone again.
I just wanted to post up on probably my most favorite band of all time, Opeth.
Not only do they AWESOME looking hair, but there music is incredible and probably one of the most unique bands of all time.
They're hair is incredible! But their songwriting is the main thing. They probably are one of the bands thant influenced in music, style, and of course my hair growth! Anybody here listen to any Opeth by any chance?
Thanks for the support, and never cutting my hair,
Jøe.
I'm a passing listener. I haven't really devoted much time to them, but I know they're good.
They do have great hair and their music is very good as well. I've
seen them live at Wacken and it was an awesome show. They're going
to be there this year too and I'm looking forward to it.
Kevin
That's so cool, Kevin! I want to go to Wacken so bad someday.
Anyways They are coming to Pittsburgh, PA, May 15. That's the city in which i reside. Can't wait! Going to be so awesome! Thanks for the follow up.
Jøe.
Hi Joe,
As you say they are wonderful examples of inspirational longhairs and they do create and play great music as a band.
Like Kevin I've seen them live at Wacken and looking forward to seeing at Wacken this summer. Well if you do come over you do know people in Europe that do attend the festival now and start saving for next year!
Cheers,
John.B
Yeah man, Opeth is a great band!
Definitely one of my favorites. I've also seen that you had a Children of Bodom shirt on in the last update you gave. You like Bodom? One of my other favorite bands! :) Can't wait until their new album comes out this month.
Cheers
Jøe
Hi Jøe
Yes those guys have tremendous longhair and are definately an inspiration to growing ones hair out:)Its so funny as when I went to clubs during the 80s all the bands I've seen had hair like that as today some may have a few short haired guys within the band or even shaved heads.I suppose thats acceptable nowadays in metal. It was also great as the entire audience at the clubs all had longhair like the bands onstage!Oh those were the days!LOL.As for Opeth I've heard of them but never saw them live.I'll have to check the local concert listings as if they are going to be in the states I'm sure they will make a stop in NYC which is very close to me.Thanks for posting that cool pic.Take care my friend
Mark
One of my favorite Band EVER. Im going to see them in may!
proof that im a fan:
Opeth is a really great band, I'm going to see them live on Graspop metal meeting in belgium this year. Wacken is also a festival I want so visit but I couldn't make it this year and graspop is a very good alternative.
I was planning on going to Wacken, I have a ticket and all, but their line up isn't even close to that of Graspop and Hellfest. Opeth is going to be at all three anyways. Graspop has both Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Hellfest has Slayer, Venom, Motörhead, and Carcass. I'm having trouble deciding, but I think I'm going to sell my Wacken ticket and decide between Hellfest and Graspop. Have you been before? Would it be any more difficult to find English speaking people than Wacken?
I've been to some shows or shows with multiple bands on one evening but this will be the first time I'm going to visit a festival.
So I can't help really tell you how it's like there, but I think on graspop a lot of people speak dutch like me, dont know if there will be a lot of people from other countries.
I go with a group of friend who all like metal a lot so well have fun anyway. The lineup of graspop is very good imho but there also a lot of bands I don't know so I hope to learn a lot of new bands there.
Succes on deciding where to go, maybe you can find info on forums on the internet.
