For some reason, EVERYONE I know is telling me to get my hair trimmed so it looks better. I grew my hair out from a buzz cut so the hair at the back is longer than the hair at the front (everything is different lengths basically). anywho I kind of like the way this looks, but it seems like no one else does. Do you all like the different (un-trimmed) lengths look or the even (trimmed) hair length look better?
I feel like the only person who actually likes the untrimmed look better...

Untrimmed look is wilder :) But in the awkward stage, I don't always like it. It depends... How long is your hair, by the way ?

Ill post a picture when I get the chance, but the longest parts are about down to my shoulders, the shortest about down to my chin.
Tell them to mind their own damn business. And grow their hair out!!! They look like an egg with fuzz.
And I think these people should keep their mouths shut. Just ignor completely and do your own thing and pay their comments no attention.
Do as you want, not as others advise. They arn't the one who will/ could have regrets.
If you're just growing it out, let it grow and don't worry about layers and different lengths. Personally, I think the varying lengths can look good.

Personally I love the un-trimmed , different lengths in hair because it has life like that, and volume. I think the even hair length look makes people look like the back of their head grows hair much slower than the front does :P. But that's my opinion.
My hair's growing out from (nearly) shaved, so I have the different lengths look.. and my hair is curly! Then again, if I had the even lengths look, I'd look like a poofy umbrella at this point ;).
Keep growing! Do what you want, not what everyone else does.

You're not alone bro... Untrimmed looks much better in my opinion as well... I've never had a reason to trim other than getting longer than wanted at the time.. Women's hair looks nice trimmed.. on Guys untrimmed looks best to me.. Do what YOU want and don't worry about what other people think, it's what you want that matters.. Good luck!

I haven't got a trim since I'm growing out (almost 7 months) and I really like the different lenghts. It's more natural and gives it some life. I'm not planning to trim it for very long no matter what people say.
I'd let it grow.

After reading your post I think you answered your own question and that is if you like your hair the way it is then thats what should count.Sure other opinions are fine if asked for but everyone has their own opinion as to what looks good.So keep your hair the way it is since you seem happy with it.When you get the chance do post a pic as it would be cool to see your hair style.Take care

I like nice thick ends. They don't have to be straight across (they can be U shaped), but hair just looks better trimmed.
