Hey everyone,
I figured I'd post a thread about other people's hair rather than my own. In the metal realm there are many awesome manes and I just figured I'd see who other's thought have awesome hair in metal and rock (or any genre for that matter:
Post a photo with the name if you can!
I'd say I'm most impressed with Herman Li (right side in photo) of Dragonforce
Also, I remember Tony Harnell of TNT had great hair along with All of the guys in Rhapsody.
It works ;)
Anderson is sure a great musician. Jethro Tull is a marvelous band.
Sad that he's bald now...
JT is one of my favourite bands (hmm, maybe THE favourite!). Ian Anderson has always been my beard myth; sad indeed he's bald and with a "corporate goatee". He could have kept the killer beard; but he had shorter hair and a shorter beard since the eighties..
Man, that's classic. I like that picture.
Chaoth from the extreme avant-garde metal band Unexpect XD
I've never seen a 9 string guitar before, but a 9 string bass?! That's insane

11 string bass :)

;)
It appears to be a blended guitar with elements of both
a bass and standard guitar to me. I have never seen this before.
You would think it would have 10 strings. (I have a hunch that
the thinnest bass string is equal to the thickest string on a
standard guitar, creating an overlap.) Maybe someone here could
clarify that. I am not a musician, but am quite observant.
Usually this is done by making a guitar with 2 necks, one with
4 strings to use as a bass guitar and the other neck with 6 in
the configuration of a standard guitar.

Its what's known as an extended range bass covering move octaves then usual :D
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended-range_bass
Here is an article on these unusual guitars. Some have a range
of 8 octaves. Some of them produce frequencies as low as 20 Hz.
Some even exceed the range of a piano. Just amazing.

The bass is a truly amazing and beautiful instrument but most people don't realise this because they beleive that the bass is "supposed" to be the "base" XD
Cheers
UneXpect is a great band from my own town montreal! Ive met all the guys( and gals) from the band! They are awesome!
I'm jealous XD
My best guy AK from my german fav band :-)

V'gandr of Helheim
I think his hair colour is beautiful.
While I liked Sauron's vocals much more, I have to say Covan of Decapitated has some truly metal hair. Hoping he gets better soon.
Dagon;
Love the his work and of course his hair.
I just figured I'd see who other's thought have awesome hair in metal and rock (or any genre for that matter:

album cover of my duo from a few years back.
it's a hat's off to that sexy melissa etheridge album with the hair down the naked back
Someone who has definately inspired me.
Chris Adler (drummer of metal band lamb of god)
FANTASTIC drummer!!! Sits all relaxed and makes it look easy too haha. I agree, also to elaborate, pretty much all the LOG guys have awesome hair (aside from Randy's weird front mullet). I met them in person last year and they were all very nice guys.

Carcass have great hair, especially Bill Steer, and if I ever put my hair in dreads it will be because of Jeffrey Walker :)
