Hey all,
So it will have been almost a year since I took scissors to my hair for a trim and right now my hair goes down to my upper back (about 13 inches long) and is fine and straight. My question pertains to when I should brush my hair...
The only tangles I ever get is after waking up in the morning and I comb all of them out with a wide-toothed comb before going in the shower and then dont put a comb or brush to my hair again until the next day. Should I brush it after it fully dries? Or should I just leave it be?
Also (sorry for the second post), what is the best type of brush for my type of hair?
What I usually do is blot it dry after a shower, wide tooth it or finger comb it to loosen big tangles then let it dry. When it's dry comb it through again with a widetooth then use a 100% boar bristle brush to really smooth it out. Boar brushes are awesome, they help manage your mane and stream your oils from your scalp to your hair tips keeping it shiny and smooth. Be gentle with the boarbrush though, don't press too hard or force it through, brush slowly and evenly.
Hope this helps my friend!
