Since i was a kid my hair around my crown area was dry while the rest of my hair was normal. Now that i have shoulder-lenght hair it is very noticiable.
When i take a bath, the hairs on top of my head and the crown hairs dry in about 2 minutes, while the rest of my hair stay wet for 1hour. My hair is healthy but those hairs around my crown area are dry and look damaged, if wind blows and those hairs get up they are so dry and damaged that they will continue on that position till i do something about it. I tryed some products but i cant do anything about it.
Any advice will be welcome, i allways keep my hair on a ponytail because of that and its making me hate my long-hair.
Thanks in advance
Maybe the dry hairs are a bit too short to lay down with their own weight.
How about trying to condition the dry bit only, and leave the rest of your hair just wet with water? Maybe this will moisten the dry hairs somewhat and balance them out with the rest of the hair. I'm not sure if this will work but it's always worth trying :)
