Here's a pic of me at a gig a few weeks ago. I much prefer playing with my hair loose. Enjoy!

looks awesome bro! def got some great hair there dude :)
Thanks, Mark!
Thanks, Tom. As far as I know, I'm the only longhaired jazz musician around here [San Francisco South bay area]!

Very Cool man. I've always been a fan of jazz although I've never really followed it. Recently wanting to start collecting but haven't.. Any suggestions? I'm on the other side in the Savannah, Georgia area.. Otherwise I'd look you up!
Tom
"I much prefer playing with my hair loose."
We also prefer it when you play with your hair loose ;)
Keep both the hair and the jazz flowing.

Hi Rick very cool pic of you at work there and I'm sure the jazz was very smooth just like your hair:)I wish that I had the talent to play an instrument as I tried guitar but never seemed to master it.I guess its something you are born with I concluded.Take care Rick

Hi Rick,
That is a cool update photo, and it would be great to hear you play sometime. The hair is certainly growing, and I think you are long overdue for an avatar change!
Keep it growing,
David
Don't see too many xylophone players around, but seeing one and him being longhaired is really awesome! Looking great, Rick. Hope all is well for you. =)

Looking good Rick. Your hair is a bit longer than I thought. Keep it growing for sure.
Scott
Rick, Vibes(Vibraphone)! Cool, one of my favorite(Jazz?)instruments. Your hair looks wonderful!
peace, jonalbear
Rick,
Your hair looks great! I think we are at the same length too. I didn't know you knew how to play the marimba. I though you only played the string bass.
Mike
You've got some great length there Rick. Congrats!
Nice hair you've got there it's a lot longer that your avatar picture shows!
Hi Rick..
What a great looking natural shot.. your length is looking very nice indeed. Keep it up..
Tristan
What a fantastic photo Rick and you don't look a day over 29. Thanks for sharing this with all of us. Really neat! :-)

Thanks for the all the comments. Quite often when I'm playing vibes and really get into what I'm doing, I'll get my head closer to the bars. So far, I haven't had any problems get the mallets caught in my hair but... there's always that possibility! :)

Rick G, Think I would rather have a mallet instead of a mullet. lol
peace, jonalbear
Good one! :)
