I've been growing out for about 4 months from very short hair. It was about 1" long, and is about 3" long now. I just bought some Biotin supplement and will be taking about 1600 to 2400 mcg a day (that's 2 to 3 tablets). The supplement also has 20 mg of Calcium per tablet. Does anyone know if this is a good dose to increase hair growth rate - or if I should take more or less. Anyone know of any other supplements that are good to take? I already get plenty of exercise (weight lifting) and eat a good diet. My hair looks very healthy and is pretty thick, but I would like to up the growth rate if possible. If anyone has had any luck with this or has anything interesting to share on this please post something :) Thanks
I think you are doing the correct dosage.
Mike
Well all I can add to that is that hair grows about 0.5" a month, and I've never known of any supplements that have made hair rate grow faster.
Cheers,
John.
PS...I'm sure Bruce would agree with that.
would that supplement increase facial hair growth too? If so I'm interested in aquiring some.
