Just use photoshop or if you don't have that paint.
You can also mail it to me and I will resize is for you.
Thanks for the tips,Vincent, ill try to resize it on paint tomorrow,as im going out to dinner tonight with my family :).
Peace.
Or you can resize it on my web site and it will mail it back to you within a minute. It has a 4 meg limit so your photo should work fine.

I have a thought (that alone can strike terror in the hearts of some)... but the tech team could give some though into coding a link to Bill's resizing utility into each reply window as part of the add photo area below the web link section and have the utility open in a new window.
The same software could just be put on MLHH of course. Here is the problem....
There is a maximum time that the web server will accept input from a user. It is 120 seconds. If a user goes beyond that, he will get a crash, and this can greatly confuse users. We really don't want people to have their messages crash out.
If we go over 2 megs, people with slower connections will start getting crashes. This means they will be confused as to what happened to their message as well as their photo.
On my web site, people are just submitting a photo, so it is not a big deal if they time the server out and get a crash. Nothing gained, nothing lost. So I give users 4 megs. Someone with a fast connection and a large photo file size may benefit from that higher limit.
This 120-second limit is also why we can't accept more than one uploaded photo in a post. We could accept two 1-meg photos or 4-500k photos, but this would confuse users more than just accepting one photo and having them make a second post to upload their second photo. A lot of users are not highly cognizant of the size of their photos, and as much as possible we want to accommodate their thoughts, which are, "I have a photo and I want to put it in my message." We strive to make that work as much as possible.
One feature on my web site photo resizer is to rotate photos (for those who have held their camera sideways when taking a picture). It's been tested there and it works, so we will probably add that to the MLHH "post a message" page sometime soon.
