Hey there
Name is Rob,I'm 28 years old, and a newb here. ;) Shaved my head bald on Jan 1st of this year(yikes)... Have always wanted to grow my hair long. So, being bald and regretting the decision immensely, I figured what the hell, let's go for it! I wasn't longhaired before the head shaving fiasco, but it was medium length.
I've been lurking around here since I decided to grow it and thought I'd say hello. Bout 3 months in and I'm kinda documenting the growth on my myspace page, so if you would like to see it feel free to check it out. Nothing impressive yet but I've been told my hair grows fairly fast.. meh, who knows? Patience is a virtue anyway...or so I'm told lol
Looking forward to getting to know some of you as you all seem like cool, open minded folks.
Hi Rob and let me be one of the first to welcome you here to the famous MLHH!As for your intro I wouldn't say there was anything wrong with it as you just gave a brief history of your hair growth.Well I guess as long as it was only a normal haircut before going shaved it wasn't that big a change. However I bet your head felt cold.Anyway its cool that you are thinking of trying longhair.Since you haven't grown it long before I suppose you don't have a goal in mind yet.Do keep us updated on your progress and hopefully it'll be what you really want.Take care.
Mark
Thanks for all the kind words of welcome. :) The longest I ever had my hair was slightly longer than my chin. It was shaved underneath tho and was rather cheesy in retrospect. lol
Lookin forward to the journey. ;)
Norseman, Welcome to the board and good luck in your hair farming journey. Oh yeah and always remember no razor sand no scissors!
Strength during the awkward times.

Hey there
Great to have you here. As the song says... Let it grow, let it grow, let it grow.
Welcome man! Glad you have found the place. I wish you luck in your hair growing journey.
Welcome to the board, good luck with your hair growing journey!
Welcome aboard Norseman..
I too was completely bald in July 2006. I did the same thing you're doing. Haven't cut the top at all and only a small trim in the back to prevent the mullet effect.
Take Care..
