Hey all, just messing with the dig. camera tonight and decided to share this pic taken from the side. This is typically how my hair falls when worn loose. As you can see...always the head covering...still...

Hi David, thanks as always for your good words. Yeah, it looks much longer in the back and I think that it grows a fair amount quicker in the back than on the sides. And indeed it is at least two inches longer in the back. At some point in the next year, most likely in 10 months or so I will get a more substancial trim to even things out somewhat. I just want more length on the sides and in front. Hope yer enjoying your weekend.

Your hair looks superb, Max. It grows quite fast, and being mostly straight, is ideal to grow to waist length, if you choose to do so. Keep it growing.

Aside from see that your hair is really hanging down low, this pic shows how ripped you are!
With that and the facial hair, I am guessing that your long hair doesn't lead others to any confusion regarding your gender...
I am not sure why you feel the need to cover it, though unless for personal taste. It is looking good.

Hey Shawn, I appreciate your kind words. No I have not had anyone mistake me for female at this point. But living in northern CA you never know. LOL I cover the top mostly for personal taste...just don't like the way it looks loose without the hat or whatever yet. My goal is that in another 5 to 6 inches I will be more happy with it...at least I hope so. Of course if I had hair like yours I most likely would never wear a hat...

My goal at some point is to have the hair the same length all the way around like yours, but that is going to require at least another couple of years possibly, at least to get it to that point at the length that I want. As always, you have made enourmous progress and you look great. You are fortunate to have heavy straight hair that is normally neat.

Why?? I am fond of hats and normally wear one myself mostly for protection from sunburn as my hair is very thin (as in almost gone...sigh) on top. But I don't think you have that "problem".

Hi Walter, yeah, I guess for 2 years my progress is running about average...1 inch per month generally although it might be slowing a bit now. My hair is very fine and the least amount of moving around will put it in my face and fly away, so lots of times I just wear a hat or something else to keep it from becoming annoying... Hi Kevin, it seems to be a few inches longer in the back, I think the back grows faster for some reason, but I know that happens sometimes...just wish the rest of it grew at the same rate! Thanks!
