  Have you seen the latest Calvin Klein model, Travis Fimmel? Although I object to him bein scantly dressed, he has nice blond long hair. Some of the ads he appears in for Calvin Klein are in New York. Its quite a change from seeing these boring short haired dorks in these ads!!!

      Hmmm . . . His hair isn't what I'd really call "long," although it is longer than most. Long hair, to me anyway, is when it gets past the shoulders . . .
      Nice to see more marketers using guys with hair of a decent length for a change . . .

    If my memory serves me correctly, long hair can and did get dorky and boring--especially during my high school and college years--1970s and early 1980s. Now that we have everything from butt-length hair to shaved heads, we have something for everybody. Any guys wear their hair like Pebbles Flintstone or Cindy Brady? At least their ponytails are in more interesting forms. How 'bout ponytails pulled back at the top of the head?
