As for me, most girls love my hair. They love touching it and such, so that's never been a problem, at least not yet. xD
Damn! Try not to worry so much about what girls think about your hair (though I've found that many do like to play with mine). If it's that length that makes YOU happy, that's what matters most. If girls won't like you simply because of your hair, then they have much bigger issues apparently.
Keep it growing, because you are definitely blessed with great hair genes. =)

You have friggin AMAZING hair. It's very "power metal" how it's curley and still long as hell. As for girls, many actually like long hair on guys, especially when it's well taken care of and not greasy or dirty; in your case your hair looks extremely well taken care of. My gf personally likes the long hair on me, as have many past gfs. Don't worry about that because you have great hair and the right girl will like you for how you want to look. Anyway, keep it how it is man, it look's great!

There are girls who like it, girls who dont, as James stated, if they dig you it shouldn't matter. To me long hair is a lifestyle. It's a way of living and thinking. It's my way of showing my distaste for some elements of society, and its also part of my look as a performing musician
The question is: Why do you have long hair? Thats what you have to ask yourself. If it is just a passing fancy then maybe it would be better to cut it so you can look more main stream and impress the girls who like clean cut guys

First off, you have amazingly awesome hair, please don't ever cut it.
I'll admit that it sucks when match.com lists turn-offs and tons of women list long hair. I guess the only consolation is that women who do like long hair on men seem to really like it. I'll never cut my hair for a woman but I'll admit that I wish the odds were a bit better than what they appear to be.
LOL I've seen that too Jason.. I've also seen that a majority of guys around my area that have "long" hair, it is less than shoulder length and has the unkept "redneck" or mullet doo! HAHA I think you'd find that most of the women who would consider long hair a "turn off" wouldn't mind someone with hair like ours who takes care of it, they would just be jealous that it was longer than theirs! HAHA

I think the whole reason they don't like it, our hair that is, IS because they are jealous of it and intimidated.
I'm sure that's not always the reason but very true nonetheless in which case I think that's funny as hell...

As for the women thing, I've found that when I have gotten a negative response in regards to me growing my hair out, I usually don't get a real answer to why they don't like long hair...
My friend's wife just said to me: "Its just not normal... guys are sposed to have short hair!" ...To which i respond "but why?" and I never get anything worth a damn. "Just because" doesn't cut it. lol Maybe they're jealous, but I'm pretty sure they're just parroting what some other sheeple said after being brainwashed into stereotyping longhairs after the 60's.
It's because of that stuff, that I decided to grow my mane out. Screw the norm, and do what you really like :) good luck, whatever your decision may be. ^_^

Thanks for the picture update and wow what an amazing head of curly hair you have and I'm sure you are very happy with and in wonderful condition. It's like anything in life some people will like and some people won't and that's both sexes. I would certainly say keep it growing as you have done a fine job so far.
There have been stories here of some lovely manes cut due to eith from pressure from people or trying to conform or to appeal to the fairer ladies. Do what is right for you.

The thing of it is, if you hold out for the girl who does dig it, then you'll have the girl who probably will be easier to get along with and less superficial and dig what you dig, etc. That is, she'll be into you for you and what you are already. Having short hair thinking you'll then get the girls just is another form of conforming to what you're not for some wrong reason.
You've got great hair, and you will find the girl.
Your hair looks awesome. I've had the same thing with girls. I think the ones that do like it really love it though. I also think it separates the really superficial girls that "wouldn't want to be seen with a long haired guy" from the ones with an actual head on their shoulders. I say keep it growing, it looks great.

Two words. Absolutely gorgeous! My advice is to go for the girls that like your hair and ignore the girls that don't. The ones that don't like your hair don't deserve your attention at all.
