The answer Is YES!!
Last week , In the ''journal de montréal'' they're was a documentary about how hair grows. And to my pleasant surprise, they state that hair grows faster on hot/sunny weather (summer spring) Because the natural fonction of hair is to protect the head from the sun!
Wow, I always thought it was the other way around. Good to know that now that it's going to be Summer, my hair will grow faster.
Time to buy a sun lamp!!! (for nights and winters LOL)
Sweet!
Hi. This is another reason why I like hot weather. The main reason I like hot weather is to be comfortable (I get cold easily). I already probably know that hair grows a bit faster in sun and warm weather. With that reason and my main reason, I hope for a very hot summer in Seattle. I plan to spend a lot of time outside in the sun this summer, so my hair can grow out faster, and so I can enjoy the nice warm weather while it lasts. By the way, this spring there had been cold, and it snowed just a few days ago.
By the way, I like to compile past information on the weather in select cities.

Awesome!
I thought it was growing faster in the winter, but it does make sense about summertime!
And with temperature's reaching over 100 degrees in this dry, flat piece of California in which I live in, the Great Central Valley, (not that great..haha)...I should grow it to mid-back in no-time!
Thanks for the kool bit of info!
But fur (talking about animals) grows more in winter to protect the body from cold weather and atmospheric agents (rain, snow), and we are animals after that.
Could it be that a human's beard grew more during the winter (for the reasond above) and head hair grew more in the summer (to protect from sun)? And what about armpit hair, or chest, or pubic hair?
Ok, mad scientist here retires. Material for the Annals of Improbable Research.
I dont know they were only talking about head hair, but what you say make sense.
