Well, that's another birthday. Starting to nudge 40, but will hopefully hit it at full tilt with waist length hair - terminal permitting. Still, age is only a number isn't it? I have every intention of growing old disgracefully.
I keep meaning to post some pix, but I'm very lazy about taking them. If I manage to get some that I like I'll put them up.
Nothing wrong in growing older disgracefully and I've passed that watermark and coming up to another semi-no so significant number and not worth worrying about.
Look forward you future update.
Cheers,
John.B
I'm starting to look forward to 40 now. A friend of mine whose hobby is making fruit cakes just told me that she's got the fruit soaking for mine already.
Hers are the sort of cakes that you organise a lift home after - alcohol laced with cake. Mmmm.
I'm an old fogey at the age of 54 with waist length hair, much
of it grey. I'll keep the grey....i've worked hard for it.
George Burns once said that growing old isn't so bad, if you consider the alternative!
Happy birthday, hope your terminal lenght alows you to get at your desired lenght.
A few weeks ago, I did more than nudge 40. I went and kicked it over. I too, one day, hope to be the guy with grey flowing hair who remains incongruously active. For now, I'm the guy with a grey here and there (and grey sideburns) who seems to be doing OK... but there are definitely some things I need to work on, excercise-wise, if I want to be that old guy. Diet and excercise, diet and... etc.
I know exactly what you mean. I keep meaning to rejoin the gym and get fitter, but I'm too busy at work to fit that in just now.
