I finally managed to get to grips with the technology and show you guys what kind of crop I've grown over the last year and a bit, while I've been lurking!
It seems to grow at exactly 1/2" per month, so I hope that in 2 year's time it will be close to waist length and then, in the words of Buzz Lightyear 'to infinity and beyond!'

Thanks! This time I'm growing out with no trims at all and it seems to be working out well. By the way, when you wrote that Ray had better hair than yours I thought that although his was thicker, yours was smoother and shinier!

I love the quote! Your hair is really shiny and is starting to get past the snag of the collar. Soon it will be flowing over your back. How short did you start from?

I started growing from a short cut which the hairdresser said was based on Demi Moore in 'Ghost'. It might have looked good on hair but it certainly didn't on me! I love the idea of it flowing all over my back - can't wait!
