This is just a final reminder that we are having lunch at noon tomorrow at Duarte's in Pescadero.
RickG has pointed out that there is a large event going on at the airport just north of Half Moon Bay, and that anyone coming to our lunch from the north would be best off to go south on I-280 and then cut over to the coast at Half Moon Bay or south of there.

Hi Bill and the other SF area guys. I'm sorry I can't make this meeting. Life has been busy and my hair continues to grow. I'll reach my one year milestone on June 1st. I'll post a pic then. Even though I haven't posted lately, I check the board regularly for advice and inspiration. I love to watch everyone's progress. Without your support I don't think I would have made it this far in my hairy journey.
Regards to all,
Don
That even is called, "Dream Machine", --- and I remember getting caught in that nightmare of traffic one year... it can take about an hour to move the distance of just one block!!!!
I had to cancel my attending the family event that conflicted w/ the longhair meet-up, because my back was very stiff and sore earlier this morning. Now that my back is feeling a bit better, I was debating whether or not to surprise you and Hairball by showing up late at Duarte's; but, knowing from first-hand experience how backed up traffic can be on the coast when this event is happening in Half Moon Bay, I think I'll just stay put at home! The "Dream Machine" event is just as bad, if not worse, than when Half Moon Bay has its annual Halloween Pumpkin Festival, --- two dates to remember NOT to schedule any future Longhair Meet-ups along No. Calif.'s San Mateo coast!!

We had a great get together! RickG, Steve NoVA, EdG, myself, and my partner Larry were all there to meet Hairball. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, temperature was 64. After lunch we hung out on the main drag of the town for about two hours.
As for traffic, Larry and I went down via 280 and 92 and came back the whole way on Highway One. Traffic was no worse than on any Sunday. There were huge traffic jams going south from the airport on Highway One to 92 as we came home, but we were going in the opposite direction.
Sorry your back was acting up; hope you feel better soon!
