I have tried different professional products supposedly designed to straighten curly hair. Unfortunately none of those have allowed me to obtain the straight look I want. I have thick, curly hair. When I get out of the shower, my hair is all over the place, totally out of control. I would be very glad to receive tips on how to deal with that starting from the washing part, via conditioning and finally styling. Any miracle products out there that I haven't tried ? Or should I use some kind of steamer or go for chemical straightening ??
Many thanx !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just do what I do. Even though my hair isn't too curly I just only wash it in warm water. Use no products. Then your natural hair products won't get destroyed by chemicals. mY HAir doesn't look greasy either because I dyed it blonde and blonde greasy hair doesn't look greasy, even though it doesn't feel greasy either. I guess it aint too greasy therefore.
Try the japanese straightening, its very expensive but its worth the cost. Its like a chemical relaxer, the strong one (in resulting with hair straight as a pin), but it reconditions and improves the condition of your hair. Its not available but in few selected salons, and it may cost about 200 pounds or more (300 dollars). I'm just fighting my curls until I have reasonable length.
