Hey everyone!!
I haven't had much time to come on the board (I just started my A levels, and they'll last until like 31st May), but I wanted to post a 10 month update from a shaved head, since around the end of June 2007 was the last time my hair was cut.
I'm much happier nowadays :), my hair feels more "me". OK admittedly most awkward-stage days are terrible and the hair literally sticks out at all angles. My curls defy gravity! lol.
I've started to take vitamin supplement pills for hair, and have been taking them since my 9th month update (1st April)... before my hair barely grew to the average rate every month (about 1cm a month), but since I started taking these pills my hair is like 3/4 inches longer!! This is great news; I was worried my hair stopped growing due to the intense stress of these terrible exams.
I can't wait for summer holidays! (A month from now, when I finish my exams). I've started looking for summer jobs but every time I walk into an interview the employer turns really unfriendly and gives me a really hard time. And I don't know why.. my hair would be tightly gelled back for the interview! It's not like they saw me with bed-hair!.. Oh well, I guess my country's population is quite intolerant of long-hairs.

I'm having quite a lot of tangle problems lately.
I'd like to say that everyone's updates are really inspirational. Thanks a lot for posting :), it keeps me going sometimes.

Great update and fantastic looking hair, no question. Sorry you are having troubles with the tangles. Perhaps try finger-combing and that may help on your type hair.
Dude! That is one thick mass of curls you've got and healthy ones at that! Looks fantastic and think of how it's going to look when some added weight lengthens out those curls. Keep growing for sure!
Cool hair! As for the job situation, I'd say just keep looking. You're bound to find someone who doesn't act unfriendly and would be willing to hire you.

Nice update and I like the curls they're wild. I'm a bit surprised your having a tough time with job interviews. It's been my impression your country is much more tolerant than mine. you know what I'm going to say next, keep at it they all can't be stupid and narrow minded.

.Just a thought but have you tried the same employers with your hair just tamed down? It could be possible tha maybe they are thinking gang affil. Just a thought Nice hair wear it proudly
Yes yes... when I went for the interviews my hair was gelled so flat that people don't recognize me! haha..
