went to the doctor today and i do have staph infection again but this time i wont have to go the hospital but take antiboitic pills for 2 weeks and it should get better

At least you do not have to go to the hospital this time. You must rest, and I agree with David N that it is important to look at your infection so it does not get worse. Just do what your doctor tells you and you will recover.

not totally sure but a bug bit me and it became staph, teh first time i had i jus touched someone who had it i thnk ;/
There really isn't much that you can do except being careful not to cut yourself. You are likely one of the 30% of people who are carriers of Staph. Regrettably, Staph tends to colonize in the most obscure places so the likelihood of it being completely erradicated from the exterior of your body is pretty slim. Bear in mind that S. aureus is just a normal part of your skin's bacterial flora and without it your chance of infection from Gram negative bacteria would increase if not for the competition for Gram positive bacteria like Staph. It could be the you were first colonized when you were in close contact with someone in unsanitary conditions and the shaving cut allowed the Staph to enter into the bloodstream. One thing that you can do it use Hibiclens three times per week when you shower which should help to reduce the number of bacteria on your skin.
You caught it soon and I'm glad to hear you wont't have to go to the hospital. Get better soon.

I had staph three months ago...I got an infection on my face from shaving with a dirty razor...I had red bumps all over my face and my throat swelled up like a frog, it wasn't good, and took a while to go away. The doctors ended up giving me sulfa drugs to treat it, and I woke up two days later COVERED in red dots that itched like crazy - apparently I am allergic to sulfa drugs as well, and had to take even more antibiotics to get rid of my red dots...LOL...
How is your Staph manifesting itself??? There's lots of different kinds!
Either way, get better soon! Watch out for those sulfa drugs!
the first time i had it was mrsa! now its just basic nothing major but need to get it treated asap!
