I know it's a common question but there's just so many to pick from I really have no idea what to do. I dunno which shampoo to use (I want a healthy one).
I started off using Tresemme and then switched to Aussie Moist (which has two of the ingredients that you are supposed to stay away from when picking shampoos -- Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate). I have extremely thick/wavy hair and would love something that keeps my hair looking healthy and won't cause long-term damage. Does anyone have any suggestions? Sorry for such a common question =/
in other words, i'm in my 7th month of growth and loving every day of it (awkward stage and all). thanks for the support guys.
Hey, I'd suggest Mane N' Tail brand shampoo and/or conditioner. I have used it in the past with good results. You can probably get it at your local CVS store (if you happen to live near one).
Peace,
Ryan
JASON brand shampoos are quite nice. I use the one for dandruff (common problem in my family), and it works like a charm. It's completely all natural, so it doesn't have that damaging laurel/laureth stuff in it. Hope that helps! =)

I don't know myself anymore... I've been using Pantene Pro V shampoo and conditioner for the past 13 years.. It has those two ingredients mentioned that are supposedly bad.. Anyone know why?? I've always had great success with Pantene.. I've tried a number of other products but always came back to it but if it's not "healthy" for my hair I think I'd rather switch to something that is! Input from anyone that knows would be greatly appreciated!!! lol ;-))

I have fine, somewhat dry hair and find that just simple Baby Shampoo used sparingly seems to work well for me.
Good question....thanks for bringing it to the board.
