Hair so long that you had to shoot them? That's awfully sinister. But I suppose there can be only one!
LOL! Yes, I had to do that. A voice inside me told me so.
That is amazing hair Ale, thanks for sharing the image with us.

Great pic Ale, thanks.

Nice pic. That dude has some pretty nice hair, I hope I can get mine as healthy his looks in a few years, but I'm not sure I wanna go quite that long....
Inspirational. TY
Hi Ale,

Cheers,

As inspirational as this is I have to wonder shouldn't
a site like MLHH.ORG really have relesze form signed before
posting it on the intenet?
Anyne know what the legalities are in this type of thing?
As far as I know, permission is needed if the person is "identifiable"; I thought about this before posting, and decided it was ok.
Issues have been raised on tht LHC about the ethicity of the pic posting thing; if someone feels that the link should be deleted, let it be deleted.
I won't discuss about that.
On a non-commercial site like this one where we are not using anyone's image to promote anything, it is okay to post photos of private people as seen in a public place, so long as you don't hold them up to ridicule. In this case the photo was not on our site anyway, but it was on someone else's site and was merely linked. However, ridicule of private parties is inappropriate in that case, too. Some of the sites that make fun of guys with mullets who were merely photographed walking down the street are examples of what is inappropriate. The concern is not getting a release, nor is it one of copyright. It is "invasion of privacy". You would be dragging someone into a place they did not choose to enter and then beating up on them. Compliments, of course, are fine; reasonable people don't mind being complimented, and it is not a disturbance of the peace to tell a stranger in public that their hair is awesome. To tell someone they are uglier than sin could be.
The law goes by what a reasonable person would feel about the matter; one cannot get different treatment by saying that they are more sensitive.
Of course, we can feel free to criticize people who choose to post here and seek comments. Giving people feedback is part of what we are about, and the seeking of comments can generally be implied.
Because we follow what the law allows, we don't have anything in the FAQs about this topic. We have additional self-imposed requirements concerning photos of minors, and those are stated in the FAQs.

To all those who answered: it was a pleasure to share the sighting with you!
Bye,
Alessandro
Great long hair over there, thanks for sharing.
Hi ale!
That was a great image you captured of both a male and female with fantastic longhair:)Since my hair is exactly like that guys
hair is I have to feel I can grow mine longer!Yea!!What a great length he has achieved so far.
As far as those who didn't like the fact that you posted pics of these people without some sort of consent I wouldn't worry about it.For one thing you didn't capture their faces and another almost anywhere you go today there are cameras taking your image and who knows where they are being used. You gotta face reality as privacy is getting more and more rare unless you never leave your house.Anyway you did a great job longhair hunting:)
