Hello all,
Haven't posted here in quite some time, but decided to drop in. Included is a couple of shots taken recently (May 2nd). It's now been almost 5 years (short by a couple months).
Jim
that is one awesome mane! so thick and healthy!
Thanks
Awesome main!! I'm catchin up, little by little!!
Thanks
Your hiar looks nice. As for me, I plan my hair to be going down to mid-back, not all the way down to my waist.
Regardless
Thanks. Hey, whatever length feels right to you.
Your hair looks fantastic, Jim. It looks very thick. Just outstanding.
Scott
Thanks, Scott. Sometimes the thickness is almost enough to be annoying, but overall I love it. Not sure if I'll ever make it to the kind of length you've got, but we'll see.
Hi Jim,
What an outstanding update! I honestly think that your hair is the thickest I have ever seen, and that thickness goes all the way to your belt line. You should be able to grow it much longer if you wish to!
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks, David. It seems to have slowed down quite a bit as it got around my beltline, but still seems to be growing a little, so we'll see what happens.
Wow that amazing, so thick!
How long do you plan growing it?
Don't really have a plan. When I first left the Navy I knew I was sick and tired of getting it cut every week or so, and wanted to get it to just past shoulder length. Got there and decided to let it keep going for a while. For now I figure I'll just see where it ends up.
Hi Jim
I have to say your hair is very impressive as David noted its just so thick all the way to the ends.Thats quite an accomplishment to have waist length and have no thinning anywhere.Outstanding!
Mark
Thanks, Mark
Hi Jim ! Your mane is very impressive ! Seeing such thick hair make me dream !
Bye
Vivien
Thanks, Vivien. The funny thing is, sometimes I find myself mildly envious of those with hair a little thinner and/or straighter than mine, if nothing else because hair like that seems to pick up more shine than mine ever does with the coarseness and wavyness it has. That and theirs often seems to behave better than mine will.
Welcome back and congrats on your almost 5 years.
the mane is looking good these days.
Kevin
Thanks, Kevin.
Just out of curiosity, there's a "KevinC" that runs a website dealing with sci-fi role-playing games. Would that be you?
No that wouldn't be me. Helping the crew at MLHH is about all I make time for these days.
Kevin
Welcome back, and what an oustanding mane, amazing!!

Looking great Jim! I'm not really sure but I think I'm about 3 years . I never thought to time it out and I'm bad remembering things like that. Anyway great job! If thats 5 years I hope I can look foward to that same kind of excellent growth in a few more years

Thanks. In my case I have a convenient reference point. My Navy retirement ceremony was July 12th, and my last haircut (a crewcut) was two or three days prior. Swore after I retired I was gonna throw away my razor and forget where my barber lived for a while ::grin::
Thats brilliant. How do u wear it usually?
D
Depends on where I am and what I'm doing. At work it's usually in a tail, or braided if my wife is up early enough. At home I prefer to have it down, or sometimes I'll pull the upper part back and use a plastic clip to hold it back.
