My wife and I recently (this last weekend) celebrated our 25th anniversary by renewing our vows. A friend helped me out by braiding my hair for me. Included is a shot of the conjoined braid she did, which I think turned out quite nicely. Shortly I'll post a pic of the side (she did the beginning with kind of a french braid)
Excellent braids Jim and wonderful mane also! Congratulations on 25 years of marriage. My wife and I are at 26. Time sure does fly!

I need someone to do braids like that. Sweet.
When my friend got done with the braids and I got a chance to use a mirror to look all around, I told her "Ok, you're hired" LOL
I rarely see brades made like that. It is interesting to look at, but I won't wear my hair like that myself.

If I could do it myself or get her to do it more often, I'd probably wear it more that way just because you don't see it much, but that's just me :::grin:::
Congratulations on renewing you vows after a quarter century of marriage.
The braid looks fantastic and quite formal appropriate for the occasion. Did your wife have something matching??

My wife and I are involved in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA, a very longhair-friendly bunch, BTW), so we held a medieval-styled ceremony at our home with friends from our local barony. It was much fun.

Hi Jim, I'm glad to see you back again. It has been a long time. Randomly, out of the blue, I thought about you the other day when I was reading something about Lower Saxony and Low German or Plattdeutsch as an influence on English, because once you had posted a question having something to do with a costume or battle re-creation and the language or something to do with that region, and I remember trying to answer the question. Anyhow, that was a while ago. Your hair is looking superb and I really like the braids. You have a lot of hair! Congrats too on the 25th anniversary. That is quite an accomplishment.
