I thought I had read that all the chemicals, etc, really dont do much.
But I keep reading that this expensive Japanese anti-curl stuff works? Is it a gel? Or a pill?

Let me just tell you what a wonderful product this is. It is an expensive service but if you have it done with a stylist that knows how to use it your hair will look amazing. I saw it done at a siminar about a month ago and I still see the girl who had it done everyday. Her hair has shine and it is straight. I would absolutely look into getting it done. Believe me it is great. They also sell a flat iron that does essentially what the chemicals do. It is awesome. If you have anymore questions let me know...

What you do is go to the store buy a perm set. Fallow the directions do not use curlers and gently comb the curl from your hair as you apply chemicals. Then when your chemical is on your hair for certain amount of time that is listed on directions, Put in nutralizer.
Allow nutrilizer to set then wash as directed.
People have been doing this sence 1940es, if you are woried about your hair being too dry most little perm pacs come with conditioner. Let the conditioner sit on your hair for an extra 5 min.
