I went to a new area today for a small hike and brought my camera. :D
I almost always wear a braid when I go out but for the second half of the walk my hair was loose and I discovered much to my happiness that my hair is now long enough to pretty much stay behind my shoulders on its own. Up until now it always seemed to want to come to the front of me which I didn't like so much. Now I'll probably wear it loose more often because even when walking briskly it stayed put out of the way behind my shoulders.
It was a gorgeous day today...
Have I mentioned I love having long hair?!!!
You brade looks really nice. I wish I have hair long enough to put it in an effective brade. By the way, when your hair gets long enough, gravity holds it down, so the wind would not blow it around as much.
Regardless

Thanks man. With your really thick hair you're going to have an awesome braid when it reaches that stage. Keep growing!!
Great hair!
Do you braid it by yourself?
Btw. I also prefer to have my hair loose, but I must confess that I am not able to braid it nicely...
Thanks! Yeah, I did that braid myself. I can do the regular 3 strand and rope braids on my own.
that is awesome Jason! loving the hair man! cant wait for mine to be like that , and what a awesome scene in the background :)
I incredibely love your hair.

Hi Jason,
As always, you post the most awesome photos, and your hair is so thick and healthy. You should be able to achieve belt length, then classic length, with ease. Congratulations on this new milestone as well, with your hair staying behind your shoulders easily.
You live in such a beuatiful part of the world, and your spring is about 2 weeks more advanced than ours, although many of the plant species are quite similar to those in Nova Scotia. Hopefully, I will have a chance to meet you while taking my shorter road trip in the fall.
Take care,
David
Hi David. Thank you very much.
I'm really hoping you can visit me on your road trip. I'm thinking Massachusetts may either be directly on your route or not too far out of the way. I live not far from Boston.
Hi Jason,
A friend of mine sent me the Mapquest directions to the location I am travelling to in September, and he total driving time is about 21 hours. In fact, you are directly on my route, so I will be delighted to spend a few hours with you as a break from being behind the wheel!
Take care,
David
That's great David. Maybe we'll have time for a short walk in one of the locations near my house. We could take a few photos while we're at it!
Very nice pics, Jason! Massachusetts is such a beautiful part of the country. Hope your weekend is going well. Your hair is looking absolutely wonderful, and glad to hear you've reached another little goal. It's those kinds of things that make the process fun. =)
-James
That's an impressive mane, Jason. The braid looks magnificent, especially for doing it yourself. I hope to master that art as my hair grows further towards the ground. Thanks for sharing the photos!
Those woods look lovely, I especially like the shot where you are stood looking at the wild meadow in the glade.

Wonderful update Jason, beautiful mane to go with the beautiful countryside!
Why yes, I think you may have mentioned that before!
Keep on growin'
Bruce
First off, great pics, both your mane and the scenery.
I wish I'd had the same experience. Mine is a bit longer, but still likes to come around in front of my shoulders. I'm jealous of both the fact that yours will stay put and how well you can braid, LOL :)
Thank you!! I'm actually not surprised your hair still comes forward over your shoulders. You have some of the thickest hair I've ever seen on a man! It's really incredible. I would gladly take your added thickness and deal with the hair coming forward.
A great mane you have grown, Jason, and great to see all the New England springtime flowers! Looking at the countryside got Larry homesick, since we will be visiting his family there later this year.
My hair never got long enough that it would just hang behind my back in the wind, but of course we have very persistent and strong winds here. My hair is also a bit curlier and finer, and it catches the wind more. If I don't tie my mane down when outside, it will be all over the place, especially in my eyes and mouth! Cool that you've gotten a mane that will just hang there!

Hi Jason
Well certainly you've had better weather than here today in NJ as its been rainy most of the afternoon. So no outdoor pics in my neck of the woods!LOL. However as usual your hair is looking fantastic!Great length, colour, and thickeness all the way to the very ends.Top notch!Glad you were able to get outdoors as the woods there look so peaceful.Anyway as tough as it was I had to pick a favorite pic.So I chose this one:)Take care my friend
Mark
Haha, I second Mark's comment about NJ weather! Although, this upcoming weekend is going to be great.
-Phil
Thanks so much Mark. I think that photo may also be my favorite. I hope you have better weather this coming weekend.
Greetings Jason, your pics definitely show that spring is in full force and your hair is looking quite nice! Always an inspiration. I feel the aame way about hair staying behind the shoulders...that's my preference on myself but I still have at least 12 more months to go on that count, most likely more if I get trims to continue evening out...what a long process...
Cheers,
Max
Jason;
Yet another beautiful update......I really like the "half-braid" look that you wear so often. It adds a Celtic formality to a casual look and showcases your length which is now truly impressive.
....The backdrop of a green and flowery New England is a special treat. (We hit 112 here today with higher forecast for tomorrow...Ugh !)
As always, Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Awesome hair and great pics! Good job on the braid as well... One day I'll become more proficient..hehe Beautiful part of the country for sure, makes me want to move there!! ;-))
Tom
Beautiful scenery Jason it certainly looks to have been a beautiful day. The mane looks great as always and no matter how long it gets you always have a new milestone to feel good about.
Kevin
Congratz on the milestone, it's great you can now let your hair loose more. Your hair looks great as usual.
Jason you probably have the nicest hair I've ever seen. It looks really good in the braid but it's good to see you enjoying it down now, I had mine at that length last year but cut it and I'm growing it back to that length again. That's the best when it stays back without the use of one's ears or a tie. Always good to read your posts, keep growing your killer hair!
-Phil
Looks good! =) beautiful area, and even though they're technically weeds, beautiful dandelions. =P
Have fun with it and keep it growing ^.^
Tristram
Awesome pictures, Jason! I love being in the outdoors. Going for aimless walks in the woods is one of my favorite activities.
Your hair looks great, and the half-tail braid is very cool. You look very good with long hair.
Joshua
Now THAT was truly a great walk! And to think, all day yesterday I only got to play in my Sandbox. LOL :-)
I love long hair as well and find that the headband helps alot in keeping my mane behind me.
I appreciate all of your comments. It's a great feeling to be able to give and receive support in our journeys and progress photos are one of the best ways to do that.
Hi Jason,
It's always great to see an update from you and the hair is looking amazing and the longer it gets, the better it looks. I remember when mine was getting that length and it stayed behind my shoulders without have to tie it.
You got some great scenery there in New England and looks like I'm certainly missing some great parts of the USA. I'll have to rectify that soon.
Keep it growing mate.
Cheers,
John.B
Congrats!!!!!!! Long hair, walking, woods......how good things have been any better?
The funny thing about long hair is that it is also posture correcting ;) To keep my hair behind my shoulders I had to strt walking in a much more upright position, where as before I always stooped to keep it infront of my shoulders.
Jason, once again, looking fantastic!!!!!!!
peace

good looking hair. ^_^
Gorgeous hair and gorgeous scenery. It almost makes me wish I was back east.
