I've noticed that my hair is slightly longer on the left side than on the right, or it at least looks like that, or it could just be that my hair is usually a lot curlier on the right side.
I think this is the result of a small dusting i made a few days ago with the scissors, it's not that noticeable really, at least not if i keep my hair loose.
Would it just be best to let it grow out and then cut once i have some decent length?
I think it would be best to just let it grow out. The uneven sides will become less noticable when your hair is longer. Don't bother with another trim. Just let it grow out, and the difference will not be as noticable.
Regardless

I agree if it's not a huge difference as well as your hair is a bit curly as you said.
Just leave it for now.

Ditto...
I'd say just let it grow, hair is always a little uneven when growing out, later this will be less visible.
How about let it grow and NOT cut it when it gets a decent length.

Hi Simon, I have heard this before its connected with the heart and blood flow, apparently all your body hair will be longer on the left - now I am not sure how true this is, but I have heard it!!
Cheers Dave
Thanks everyone for the answers! I've decided let it grow on it's own from now on, i'll just have to throw away every scissor in my house, lol:D
Well, there's always teeth, lol just kidding:D
yea i think wot nuttidave is talking about is true! my hair is just a tad bit longer on my left side but its nothing noticable :)
That's nothing - the hair on the left side of my head is *thicker* than the hair on the right. :-P
And, as it's growing out, from behind, it looks longer in the center than elsewhere. But, after reading the board here, I'm thinking that's normal during the growing phase.
My left side always seems longer. My stylist knows to leave the right side slightly longer to help compensate. (It must be a difference in something like texture from one side to another.)
