Hi,
Haven't posted in a while, but thanks to everyone for a constant source of support. I enjoy reading the posts every day.
Just a quick question that I'm sure most of you could answer. I'm REALLY anxious to be able to tuck my bangs behind my ears. I'm curious how long the bangs have to hang down (i.e. nose, top of lips) before this is possible. Right now they hang at the middle of my eyes. I know facial dimensions are different on every person, but it would still help to keep my sanity until I get there. Thanks!

Depending on your facial proportions, somewhere around the chin should it, I'd say. For me hairs that just reach my mouth will just barely reach the top of my ears, so likely wouldn't stay "tucked" very well.

I just undid my ponytail, grabbed my hair from behind my ear at a point that I think would work and pulled it forward... for me hair that reachs midway between my mouth and my chin seems to be the right length to tuck.
But to paraphrase Abraham Lincoln (Q: "how long are your legs?" A: "long enough to reach the ground") Be patient all good thing in time.

I can't wait for that too, my hair is at the top of my mouth (when pulled) and is really close to my ears. In a few months I will be able to tuck it I think. My hair will be around chin lenght then. Right now I'm at 9 and half month of growth.

I agree, somewhere around the chin you should be able to. I'm at almost a year and the bangs hand down at about nose length and I'm not anywhere near getting them tucked. Just wade it out and get a cap or a bandana to contain them for now if it gets in your eyes and annoys you.
Not too long ago I was finally able to tuck my bangs behind my ears. My bangs reach the bottom of my chin.
Hey I know the feeling lol... throughout growing my hair so far I was desperately awaiting to be able to put them behind my ears. I was fin ally able to when they reached the tip of my nose - however that was just barely. That was about 4 months ago, right now they reach my chin, soon I'll be able to pull a tail with the bangs tied as well.

Its possible when its just over the tip of your nose, but they keep popping out again and it doesnt look to good on me anyway.
A bit of a shame, last month, my bangs where half way between my mouth and my chin, and i could do it almost perfectly.
Oh well.
Can you post a photo of you currently so i can get some ideas? Thanks!
So to the chin it is...got a while to go, but at least I'll have something to look forward to. Thanks for the replies.
