I think it's been about 19 months.
I feel like I have long hair now.
I think I will get it trimmed to one length in November.
Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and inspiration.

Trimming does not make long hair neater, it makes it messier, until your hair reaches mid-back. You aren't there yet, man.

Well you never know you might get as you are and have you experienced pressure at work at the moment. I'm if you kept it tied back that is sufficient for most jobs. What sort of area of work do you do?

Hi,
I use Suave Professionals Humectant shampoo and conditioner. I used Frizz-Ease for about 8 months, but I gave that up about a month ago. I have VERY coarse hair, and these products seemed to help a lot.
I work as an engineer designing guitar and bass amplifiers. Long hair is excepted in this field, but I like to look fairly professional so I can go to trade shows and represent the company.
No one complains about my long hair, but I have been "encouraged" to keep it tied back.
I think someone said wow and I concur, WOW! Thats some length for just 19 months!
