I don't know exactly how long I have been growing my hair unfortunately, but is about 4-5 months. The problem I have is that my hair, which has grown to the base of my neck is really frizzy at the end and tends to curl upwards slightly. Is there something I can do to prevent this or do I just have to put up with it?
NB I have straight hair.
Welcome to the start of the dreaded Awkward Stage! There really isn;t much you can do about it, unless you want to cover your hair in gunk. Just recognise it as the start of having long hair and be happy about it.
Good luck.
Saul
Well, as an interim solution -- until your hair has gotten long enough that its own weight and fullness draw it down -- try using a "round brush" when you dry it after showering or just washing it. Make sure that you "scoop" the hair and turn it "under" while blowing it dry, from the top of the back of your head to the very bottom. I went through this several times while going from one extreme to another in hair length and what Saul accurately described as the "Awkward Stage" can at least be managed.
Good Luck!
