Hey there guys and gals!!
When I was eleven I pierced my lobes for the first time, and last year, When I was 16, I pierced each one again. That leaves me with 2 holes in each lobe. Now I wanna do a 3rd in one lobe and 2 on my cartilage. I was planning on dojng it at the same place I always do, because Its the safer place in town and its not very expensive. The thing is that people have been telling me that its dangerous to pierce my cartilage with a piercing gun (where Im going they only use a gun, not a needle). I only know one person who got that part of her ear pierced with a gun and she didnt had any trouble with it. Have someone here done it with a gun too?
I'd really like to hear more experiences on that.
Here are two pictures of how my ears look now and where I want to pierce them.

Jus IMO, there's no other way than the needle. Guns are fine, but they can carry bacteria believe it or not even after sanitization. Go with the one time use needle, you and your health will be glad you did.
Guns are the anti-christ of piercings. Go to a respectable parlor and get it done. xD
Hey man,
The needle is the best approach for the cartilage piercing. The guns can shatter the ear cartilage, causing more tissue damage than is necessary which leaves you more prone to infection. I'd play it safe and go somewhere where they do it with needles instead.
They don't try to close anymore after 6 months of having them in.
You could actually get aids from a peircing gun don't do it man.
Go for the needle, if you use the gun you expose yourself to a myriad of diseases including AIDS. Also if you use a needle you can change your jewelry since you know the size of the hole you have.
Stay away from those guns, they are not hygienic.
I never ever even want to do this. It is simply just not good.
Regardless

The cartilage in the ear is not made to be pierced. Research shows there is a much higher risk of infection when piercing the ear cartilage.
I personally don't find it attractive to pierce anything other than the ear lobe (once). But heck, some find green and purple hair attractive ;-)
