Hi there,
I hope all is well with everyone and had a good weekend. I just got back from a a working trip up in Edinburgh. My do things move quick on the board when your away. I'll catch up on those later.
The only downside of going to Edinburgh this time of years is all the tourists about and trying to avoid them when you want to go out for a nice quiet dinner with friends.
If you ever find yourself an a whirlwind, "I'm too old now" and have to do the bus trip in the UK tour and your in Windsor. Just let me know and I'll meet you at the pub around the corner from the castle after the tour!
Cheers,
John.
Hi John,
Glad your back and hope you had a some fun in spite of having to work.
As for the bus tours they're not for me, and screw the castle I'll just meet you in the pub....(grin)
cheers
Kevin
Fine a pint of the usual!
Is that The Carpenter's Arms pub by any chance? Great food. Just wondering... Was there in April of '07, on the trip when I met you.

Yupp that's right The Carpenter's arms and just a stagger from the castle! It does nice food and good beer there as well. Not a place to tend to find alot of tourists that's for sure. It's a certainly a bit chilly and windspept that night.
Cheers,

John, Glad you had a great weekend in Scotland. Would love to visit there some time. I'll buy the first round and try not act like a bloody tourist! Heh Heh.
peace, jonalbear
