Yesterday morning I had an appendicitis attack. Went to the ER and they gave me some morphine, did a CT scan, and then operated at about 7. It was the worst pain I've ever had in my life when I woke up from the operation.
Hi Bill,
I am so sorry to hear that you had an attack of appendicitis, and that you had to go through surgery. Thankfully, everything seems to have gone OK, and I will send along my thoughts snd prayers that you feel 100% better soon.
Take care,
David
o wow dude thats good that u got it in time and i hope you feel better very soon young brother keep it up and sure to keep ya in my thoughts man get well soon!
For me the pain was worse before the operation. But maybe it
was because it was ruptured about a day before I got to the
doctor. BTW your hair is getting better all the time.
OUCH! I've "given birth" to kidney stones, 3 times within the past 6 years. That's enough pain for me, thank you. Glad to hear you're better now.

That is an awful experience. I never had that happen with me. That happened with one of my cousins about a decade back. Since your appendix is removed, that will not happen again, guranteed. The only surgery I remember was ear-tube removal, and I did not feel any pain when I woke up, although I felt weird.
Regardless
My MySpace - feel free to add me as a friend
Healing vibes coming your way bro. Be of good health soon.
I had my appendix taken out 9 years ago. It was pretty painful, but nowhere near as bad as when I severely strained my lower back.
Did you get it removed laparoscopicly?
YIKES! o-o
I hope you're feeling better now! That sounds horrible.
To bad to hear this, glad your surgery went well you will be all better soon.
(Hope your next post will be something with an hair update or something btw)
I hope you're feeling ok now!
I had appendicitis when I was 8 but i don't remember much of it.
My family stil say i was screeching from pain at the time though!! Scary stuff..
Get well soon!
Sorry to hear about your appendicitis attack but I trust you are feeling much better Bill.I can't imagine how bad you must have felt but I'm glad that it was taken care of and that you are recovering.Stay well buddy:)
Mark
Jeez Bill, you are a walking disaster zone, its one thing after another!! What did you do so bad in your previous life?
Don't you ever have anything positive going on? All of your posts are always about something negative happening to you. Not once have you posted about something positive. Life is too short to be whining and moaning all the time, take it like a man and stay strong. I can go on and on about all the fucked up things that have happened to me but I refuse to. Everybody's got their own problems man, just deal with it.
How my post depressing? Do you have any clue how much pain there in involved in getting your apeendix removed?
And just becausre the only posts you have read of mine strike you in a "negative" way doesn't mean you should assume that my posts aren't read because of it.
You replied, didn't you?
Tell me how I could have stopped my grandmother from dying? Or my appendix becoming inflamed? I think you just need to slip out of your little world and realise everything isn't happy all the time.
As I told Bill earlier, I am not depressed. I thought this board had more compassion in it, and that you guys would understand how much I've been going through lately.
It is truthfully a wonder as to why I am not depressed right now.
I do and I've got the scare to prove it.
I could post about dealing with cancer I've had but I choose not to as I'm not up for the sympathy vote!
Quite hilarious, "My happy little world" eh? You have no idea what kind of world I live in.............
I'm not going to waste any more of my time on you. Time is a precious thing these days and I value what little time I've got on my hands. Continue to wallow in your self pity and play the victim game, you may get sympathy from others but you sure as shit ain't gettin' mine.
Id like 2 talk 2 u sometime in the future about scary movies lol

Agree with the last two posts and Bill last time: Your posts can be depressing to read - grab hold of your life and think positive - your posts will simply not be read unless you change.
As soon as I invent the cure for cancer and go back in time to stop my grandmother from dying, and somehow discover a non-surgical cure for appendicitis.
you'll learn to smile.
No now!
We all have our troubles in life - parents, grandparemnts die, we have illnesses - we choose not to shout from the roof tops and just get on. You must too.
Not everything in life is positive, and while it is the positives we all seek, The negative things cannot always just be ignored.
dicks.
RAB, you don't know what you are talking about, so get your coat and leave, oh and close the door aswell.
Amen to that nutjob. Oh and RAB, Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you.
blah
Okay RAB if you can't at least leave an e-mail link why both and don't be so negative!
John.B
PS...are you hiding something as we can't contact you via mail rofl!
nothing to hide. i never leave an email fyi.
Even though you said it a little oddly, I am glad that you posted that. The last two guys who posted were being jerks to me.
I think it's safe to say some people are just a bit worn out by the seemingly wndless doom and gloom. We wonder what form of misery will come upon you next. Most will post pleasant replies but in the back of their head must be thinking "Yeah does anything good ever happen to this guy"
Remember Rich in NY he was fighting cancer. We haven't heard from him in a long time and hope he's doing well. He doesn't go on and on about how painful it is in post after post. It's one thing to post an event like your grandmothers death and we sympathize, but then it goes on and on one thing after another after another.
So expect comments Like Bill's, Chris H's and others cause you'll get them. I agree with them it gets old after a while.
Kevin
Just because we don't hear from one member doesn't mean everyone else who has 2 or 3 things go wrong in their life can't tell the board about it.
I think you should be a little more compassionate for others. I try my best to have a positive outlook on life and can't wait until I can post my next update.
Take care.
Sorry to hear about your appendix - alas, when it becomes inflamed, the best course of action is to remove it.
It seems you have a couple detractors on the board, here. I myself tend to believe that there is a very fine line between pessimism and realism. Is the world always going to bright and sunshiny?
No. So we might as well get used to it.
That said, tho - attempting to have a more positive outlook does seem to help a bit. So give optimism a try... you might be surprised.
Keep your chin up, Bill.
Ciao,
N.
Hope you feel better soon Bill! Your new avatar looks good.
You're the type of guy that pours your insides out easily and I think what some of the others are saying is that they don't want to see all that blood and guts. There may be times that you need to be discrete so that when your heart is really in pain you can pour it out to willing ears.
Take care and feel well soon,
Bruce
Whoa, what a bunch of nice people we have here. I suppose its
useless to suggest this but if there is someone you don't like
why not just not read his posts??
The lack of compassion from some people is quite disturbing. I can understand that you might be getting tired of seeing negative threads, but that is not an excuse for such rudeness. Seriously, if you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say anything.
My 2 cents...
This is a board called "Men's Long Hair Hyperboard" and a very good one. It is not place where one comes to hear about unfortunate event or another save from long standing members on the most occasional basis. Relative newcomers who can only post negatives - and frequently - in a short space of time must think more carefully and perhaps grow up and look more philosophically on life . There are other places for such things.
Just let it go dude, chill out.
I'm certainly sorry to hear you had to endure all this, basically adding insult to injury after all the other you've endured lately. I hope things begin to look up for you soon. It's important to share things with others for it does help work out things in one's mind.
Joy shared is joy doubled; pain shared is pain halved.
Another good way to work things out for yourself is to write about them in a log just for yourself. when you write out your feelings, it's quite amazing the conclusions you will reach and the amount of satisfaction that this brings. Then you look back later on the record of how you felt and are able to see what you were as compared to what you are now.
Looking forward to your next update. And if the doctor gave you any pain killers, beware of those little bastards as they are easy to get hooked on.

I guess I'll start posting about that stuff somewhere else then. I just thought I knew everyone on this board that you guys would have concern for what's going on in my life.
And they put me on percicet. That stuff is bad for your bowels.
Awwwwww
Get well soon ill be thinking of you take Care
Axel
Hey Bill,
So sorry to hear about your emergency. Hope your recovery is speedy and your pain lessens quickly. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Joshua
Give the dude some slack, guys. He probably just wants some compassion and understanding. Just because you don't tell us your problems doesn't mean he can't.
I hope you recover quickly and your future bodes well, Bill! :)
