Hello everyone on the board. I just wanted to post an update to let everyone know that I am still growing. I have seriously forgotten how many months its been, but it seems to work better for me that way as I seem to not think about it at all anymore. Now instead of looking in the mirror and saying who is that guy, it seems strange to picture my self with short. hair. I do seem to have hit a lull in growth, but if I remember correctly that happened at about 8 months and then it shot out like a weed, so maybe it is preparing to do the same thing again. Anyway, I hope everyone is well, and as always positive and negative feedback is always welcome. Brian
Right on! you've made some great progress man, I see a major difference now comparing it to your avatar. The bangs have gotten really long. Lol I forgot how long I've been growing mine as well. I haven't bothered to keep track anymore. I think I'm somewhere around the 2 years and a couple months mark?? Anyhow, yea man, the hair is looking great. I hope you're doing alright these days. Your hair is about the same length as mine, although yours is straighter. It looks healthy to me. I also believe that a person's hair grows at a relatively constant rate (mine appears to grow at a constant rate).

Hey man keep up the growth! Looks great on you. I'd say it looks like you at about 14-15 months of growth, uhh if you were growing it out from a buzz cut then it would be right around there.

Well basically i was trying to think of how many months where my hair was about your length, I'm into 27 months now (a little over 2 years) its about 2 inches down from shoulder length now,
heres a picture of my hair..

Hi, Your hair is looking so good. I am so envious. I really would myself prefer blond hair if I had any say in the matter. You just look really cool now too because I can't help but think of Bo Duke in the early 80's from the Dukes of Hazzard. I used to love that show.

Looks great man. It seems like mine quit growing completely sometimes. Then lo and behold one day it looks 2" longer. Endeavor to persevere.

I like your attitude of not being too fixated on progress....that can be very frustrating ("Watched pot, never boils"), especially if your hair tend to grow slower. My hair has gone through stages of slower growth, usually when I have been having a health problem......anything going on there???

I think that's the best way to grow out your hair is not to think about it at all. Your hair is gaining length even if you don't see it. I'm pretty sure our hair grows at the same rate all year if it does fluctuate slightly it's so slight you would find it hard to measure. It may not feel like it though I used to think my hair grew faster in winter as some ancient gene was trying to grow my winter coat...LOL However then I felt I was seeing my shedding pick up in Autumn and early winter which shouldn't happen right. so much for that gene it must not be working right.
Your hair looks great and one day you'll wake up and notice a milestone and think WOW! it's long.
