Did you try to reply to my post peter? If so, nothing came up..
Let us look at your diet.
Have you undergone any particular stress, or do you eat alot of starch. Consider cutting out starch in your diet. You dont need those carbs any how. And it can put added stress to your scalp. Consider a product like vitamin-E oil that you can rub on your scalp. To help your hair stay nutriance and make it strong from the root out. If you like you can E-mail me.

Hey
If the doctor said your health is fine, the chances are you are just loosing it faster. I tryed rogain, and have done the vitamins and all the other stuff. I ended up buying a full head of hair. Like you I needed just the top so I got a hair piece. I now have a full thick head of hair, I get tons of compliments and people are always telling me what great hair I have. Its the only answer to a full head of hair again. You have to get human hair and replace it every year but its woth it to have great hair again.

First of all, your self-esteem should not be all tied up in your hair. Apparently it is, and that's why you are losing it, along with the hair that's falling out! (get it?)
Self esteem needs to come from inside you and the person you are. Most people are concerned with outward appearance, but TRULY, you need not lose part of your "real" self because of your thinning hair!
In any case, there are only three viable options here. You can begin Rogaine (mioxidil) treatments and/or Propecia. You can also go for the hair addition (hair weave) method if it is that important to you. All of these "treatments" are expensive, but you have to decide what is right for you.
Some may suggest the hair transplant (hair plug) method, but it rarely gives a long lasting full head of hair that you are seeking. While the hair that already has fallen out is replaced with hair that will continue to grow, the hair around the transplanted areas will most likely continue to fall out. I would never recommend hair plugs. And they are "plugs" regardless of what anyone wants to call them. They are taken out of one part of your head, and plugged into another part! Micro-graft or whatever, it's still a plug!
There are two products that are medically proven to either regrow your hair or help prevent it from falling out in the first place. Propecia is a low-dose formulation of Proscar, a drug that was developed for treatment of benign prostate hyperplasty, a condition of enlarged prostate that frequently affects men over 50. It reduces the amount of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in your circulating bloodstream by 80% or so. DHT has been shown to be the causal hormone that causes andogenetic alopecia, aka male-pattern baldness, that gives rise to the traditional baldness you see on older (and some not so old) men.
Minoxidil works by an unknown principal. It is a vasodilator, which means it expands blood vessels. Topically, for some reason, it also seems to help hair grow. The more recently 5% formulation works better than the 2%. Both formulations are available over the counter.
See your dermatologist. Propecia is available by prescription only. You may have something else going on, so a visit to the doc is in order.
If you really want to obsess over this, visit hair loss websites. Some good ones are: www.regrowth.com, www.hairsite.com, www.4hair.com.au/, www.hairlosshelp.com.
Or search Google for baldness, alopecia, etc.
For folks interested in the absolute cutting edge, I recommend:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/
Search on androgenetic alopecia, alopecia, and hair.
Good luck. You are lucky there are effective treatments that are available. More on the way.
