I've just got done reading alot of the posts and untill now I pretty much thought I was alone in my desires
I have long one length hair , about 8" below my shoulders. I have had my hair this long since I was about 17, I'm 25 now.
I had a girlfriend in college that used to love to set my hair after doing hers, and long after breaking up and going our own ways i've continued this.
I'm still single but date and my current lover likes to braid my hair in a french braid. It took a lot of courage to go out of the house like this the first time
but now I couldn't give a shit less about the stares.
My hopes are that someday both men and women could wear there hair in any style they want and be able to dress any way they want by being able to cross over the
gender lines.
My best to everyone
I sometimes put my hair in a French braid, and I rarely get stares. Maybe that says something about Austin. I don't know. I have a suggestion, though. learn how to do a 4 strand rope. That is different enough from a standard braid and looks masculine enough that the stares will turn into compliments. One of these days I will add a techniques section to my site where this and other braid styles will be illustrated, as well as other techniques.
